Hello everyone,
I’m posting here after weeks of unresolved support tickets with Blizzard regarding game-breaking bugs that have completely blocked my progression in World of Warcraft: The War Within.
Core issues:
- Sparks not being granted for weeks, despite regular gameplay and weekly content completion. This locks me out of crafting upgrades entirely.
- Quests like “Lingering Shadows” and “Survivor’s Guilt” remain unavailable, even though I’ve completed all required chains, including “Rise of the Red Dawn” and “Past Glory.”
- Delves such as Fungal Folly and Hyper-Compressed Ocean are bugged and uncompletable, even during bonus events tied to limited-time rewards.
What I’ve done:
- I’ve submitted multiple detailed tickets, provided extensive evidence, and explained that these issues completely block my character’s access to core systems.
- I’ve performed all suggested troubleshooting (UI reset, disabling addons, clearing quest log, etc.).
- I’ve waited patiently for weeks while receiving nothing but copy-pasted responses and redirections to “report a bug” (which I’ve done multiple times already).
- I’ve asked for proper escalation but Blizzard Support continues to close tickets without providing real solutions or even acknowledging the severity of the situation.
Why this matters:
I’m paying for a subscription and have purchased the expansion, but I’m locked out of Sparks, quests, Delves, and seasonal rewards due to bugs that Blizzard openly admits are known.
Telling me to “wait for a fix” and “post on the forums” while my time-sensitive progression and rewards slip away is not acceptable customer support.
Blizzard, I am asking for:
- A clear update on when (or if) these bugs will be fixed.
- Compensation for the Sparks, rewards, and progression I’ve lost due to these long-standing issues.
- Real escalation to someone with the ability to take action, not just more deflection.
