It would be nice if the reps actually gave reading the tickets a try. They’re paid to read tickets, but yet, it seems that they can’t be bothered to do just that. It’s obnoxiously poor customer service to not read a ticket, and then give a completely generic copy/paste response which is completely unrelated to the ticketed issue. This means the ticketer now has to put in a second “I still need help” ticket and wait another few days for a real response, when it could have simply been handled the first time around if the rep spent 15 seconds to ACTUALLY READ THE TICKET instead of slapping a generic, unhelpful, and unrelated copy/paste on that bad boy before giving themselves a pat on the back for a job well done.Now the whole thing went 1 step further the tickets are being closed and it’s not possible to reopen them anymore
Why do the initial tickets take so long to get a reply if they aren’t even going to be read? I figure by utilizing the Blizzard recipe for success (not reading tickets/copypasta responses), a team of reps could clear out tens of thousands of tickets an hour, if not more.
Is this official policy? Clear out the queue with what appears to be useless machine generated responses to hopefully filter out a few of the tickets in the off chance the machine gets lucky and it actually solves a problem? Then, if the ticketer replies, spend the fifteen seconds to read the ticked off “I still need help” ticket and THEN AND ONLY THEN actually attempt to be helpful?
Are there any reps there that actually read tickets the first time around? Does Blizzard not test for reading comprehension skills before hiring? I just want to understand why it’s this bad. I don’t care about the wait times, it’s the blatant “We don’t care, stop ticketing us, you worthless scum” responses I get EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. This whole system makes the entire process far more frustrating and time consuming for both the player and the rep reading the ticket than it needs to be. Or is the whole thing actually being ran by an AI and there is not a single game master left ?
Here’s an example you report someone for harassment since he and his friends use the report system to sawrm you with fake reports as a result you recievieve multiple warnings that your behaviour is unnaceptable. So naturally you go and report that person but instead of reading the ticket . GM copy /paste the template - go read the rules and behave instead of actually taking a report against the player for harrasing you. . Ever since i came back to playing wow this seem to be constant theme nobody seems to read the tickets anymore.
Not to mention that as a result of that thing since people do abuse the report system you can actually get banned from the game as it happened to me . And even tho the reports submited are false GM - responce on this matter that they cannot erase that from the system as they have no control over it.

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience trying to get support. We’re currently dealing with a lot of tickets and our teams are doing everything they can to get back to everyone with relevant information in a timely manner.
As for your actual issue, it sounds like you’re trying to appeal a warning about being reported, which isn’t possible, as you can read here:
Hello mr GM - what i wrote is obvisolly the same reason . You are giving an example- GMS don’t read the tickets . The reason for this post is not to complain but to point that people who are dealing with the tickets read the first word and give an automatic answer such as you just did. The point of this whole thing is that people are using the report system to false report those who they don’t like which can result of you getting suspended from the game as it happened to me. And the people who are supposed to deal with those tickets do not read them but copy /paste you the answer refering you to the rules which are vauge ( they don’t cover those situations) they simply tell you that the matter is closed and there will be no further discussions and that you will be ignored (If you get penalised)
If you are being harassed by someone and you sart recieving behaviour warnings by someonne auto clicking report after report on you and you try to write a ticket about it trying to explain that you want to report that person to harassment you recieve exactly the same copy pasted answer pointing you to the vauge rules and the ticket automatically closes with no chance to reopen it and your report on the person is being ignored ?- because nobody reads the ticket.
Or to sum it in a few words
You get reported by players abusing the system multiple times = you get suspended . You write a ticket you get an automatic answer follow the rules - rules link. Ticket closed
You open a new ticket - you get an upset answer please follow the rules and dont submit anymore tickets cus they will be ignored
You submit a report on a player about harassing you thru the report system - you get a copy paste answer with link to the rules. It also tells you that the reports cannot be erased by a gm even if they are false and the
ticket get closed.
So you submit a ticket after ticket till someone actually reads it and confirm that he will take action to ivnestingate that player and take action if the person has broke the rules. But it takes days if not a week.
Without going into details to avoid players abusing the reporting system, this is not how it works.
Looking into your tickets, you have not received a single automated reply, and all game masters directly answered your different concerns. One of the replies is somewhat long, but please do re-read this one as it contains a lot of details.
If you do feel that the answers were automated or copy/pasted, by all means, feel free to fill in the survey to provide some feedback.
I’ll finish by saying that abusing the reporting system is a sanctionable offence, and that we do suspend players for doing so.

Look a little deeper the reason for those tickets im being harassed reported for innapropriate communication without actually saying anything to anyone, While the GM did confirm i havent said anything they also said they cannot do anything with the warnings from the automated report ( they cannot be erased) I already have 1 penalty = suspended for 7 days which nobody wanted to deal with was told not to write another request about it . And while you can see what happens and can confirm if GM responded or not to your regular customer it seems that hes dealing with AI and not an actual person. Do you guys feel that this actually creates extra work for you as people do tend to troll report someone? Am i the only person that sees something wrong with it ?
If you are reported several times in World of Warcraft for violating the in-game rules, the game will send you a warning letting you know that you will need to be careful or you may get a silence or suspension in game. This is completely automated and cannot be seen or modified by Customer Support. Furthermore the definition of what is considered innapropriate behaviour is very vauge naturally people tend to dissagree with each other and they can always tell that you are toxic or salty just because they don’t agree with you. Obviosly you shouldnt be using any form of vulgar language is out of the question and should not be tolerated but. Being muted /suspendeded for just saying something someone dosen’t like without using race /religion namecalling insulting /insulting parents family just because he has 10 friends guildmates/friends and they can all click report in 10 seconds or less should be controlled better. And naturally if this happens to you as a wow player you will get suspended 7-30 days and naturally GM wont tell you what you did since it’s their policy not to discuss any of the penalties - which kinda leaves you in darkness and you keep wondering what exactly happened there if anything you actually did.
Funny how none of this was actually an Issue till WoWTLK was released before while tickets took longer to answer there was no issue of people abusing the mass report feauture?

Maybe you should think before you type, I feel something deeper is going on here as you would never be suspended from the game unless it’s a really bad, only have your chat privileges removed.
Remember, it’s not how you mean something it’s how other people perceive it. You don’t have to swear or insult people to break the rules, there are many other reasons, most people don’t understand this.

I don’t want to personally attack you, tho I have read a bunch of posts lately regarding various topics and you are in all of them giving no useful answer or help. The only thing you do is write the obvious or speculate what the obvious might be. I am not sure if you see the forum as your own game and try to reach VIP, but this is not helpful at all. You upset people more by doing this and clearly, you are aware that it isn’t about what you mean, it is how it is perceived. The issue here is not what the author has said, it is about being harassed by a person or multiple persons over and over again without the support taking the proper time to deal with this issue. Here you picked out a line of the poster just to judge him. This isn’t Reddit or Instagram, please try to give people solutions if you have any instead of giving pointless comments to make them feel worse.

Your previous suspension was verified and confirmed by a senior game master. It didn’t come from an abuse of the reporting system.
I’ll be closing the thread now to prevent further misinformation, and because the forums aren’t the place to appeal suspensions.
