Suramar appreciation post

I have been questing in Suramar to unlock Nightborne allied race and I have completely fallen in love with the zone. It is so magical and enchanting. It is so captivating that I want to explore every single nook and cranny. Moonguard Stronghold is my absolute favourite spot to chill and I would love it to be an actual city after purging the enemies.

What do you like about Suramar?

I think I did the artefact questline there on every class in just a few months and didn’t ever want to see it ever again afterwards

Ahh. I have been enjoying the story. Just did Tel’anor storyline and the story of Thaedris Feathersong has been the best writing I have encountered in this game so far.

Yeah I’m being unfair.
It’s a great zone with a great questline.

That’s a long time since I saw anyone like Suramar.

I remember on Legion it was one of the most hated zones ever. Especially the mobs who can see you in stealth and you couldn’t fly there.

I was even in guild called “No More Suramar”

This I can understand. I like the fact that I can fly through the zone and I have the freedom to explore. That’s one of the reasons I havent enjoyed Shadowlands content and mostly try to avoid it because I cannot fly on the zones or even mount up in the Maw. Also I just realized that the zones in Shadowlands lack depth which many of these other zones have.

This is very true. But keep in mind Legion was one of the best Xpec and Shadowlands was something put together very quickly to move from BFA which was hated because it came after Legion.

Suramar is one of the precious few locations in WoW that actually feels like a proper city, and for that I will always appreciate it. The plot was pretty nice too.

That said, I am still low-key irked about Tyrande’s concerns regarding the Nightborne becoming true at the speed of light. :woman_facepalming:

Yeh, I enjoy any excuse to go to Suramar.

It’s a shame there hasn’t been another zone that amazing ever or since.

Best part of the Suramar storyline has been Stellagosa and Arcanist Valtrois bickering while placing the ley-conduits. This story is so far beyond the other ones I have experienced.

The city mostly. The entire zone is well made though.

Even Soundtracks from Azsuna and Suramar reminds me of year 2001 in the night

So many arcwine, and I love the glowing stuff! :wine_glass:

Light purple isn’t my favorite color however, but the city does have the aesthetics and all the charm.

it is my home.

I think most people who hate it do so because of how it was before flying. Now that flying is available without the pathfinder it’s much easier to get around there.

It is a really beautiful area. :elf: :sparkles:

Better with the mask which allowed me to wander around, even ride in the boats and explore it. :motor_boat: :wine_glass:

The only pain was annoying Nightbourne spotting my panda under the illusion. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::male_detective:  :running_woman:

How do you even hide Panda? :stuck_out_tongue:

The demons and the fact that it is so heavily tied to one of the most interesting and dramatic stories I can think of in WoW (Legion invasion), as well as that Gul’dan is holed up there AND the Tomb of Sargeras is nearby. Then, you have the fact that the zone is, as you said, totally captivating. It really is a great place to be.

An extra large robe so she looks like a tent with ears ! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:  :circus_tent: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
