The mass ban report function by streamers is a thing though. Its been known for a long time now.

its all an automatic system, you dont even need to say anything offensive just a large amount of reports will get you banned, people know this and just report others to purposely get them banned

Yeah, the system is clearly abused and with Blizzard being Blizzard, the resolution time would be longer than the actual banâŠif you can actually reach a real human being who can actually be bothered doing anything about it.

But if you could get an ingame ban for a week for the same things as this streamer here did. Thatâd be very very bad.

its a bit of a schrodingers cat scenario here though isnât it? We dont know if op got a automated in game ban or not.
We just assume that cant happen. And we donât know if he got a ingame ban or a silence for certain.

tbh i dont think he is lying at all and also if a streamer abused the system to give him that is very bad if you ask me but blizzard can see the logs so the best thing he could do is to open a ticket about it.

I find it so funny that people say they got suspended for no reason, yet in all my years of play WoW, Iâve never once been suspended. Regardless of who reported you, you must have done something if you appealed it and it was upheld.

Iâve never become Homeless, But I still believe that can happen to anyone.
Unless u work/worked at blizz #doubt anyone can say anything how bans really work. Even if a blue ever posted it.

Ban discussions arenât allowed on the forum.
They almost always give you a reason, even if you disagree with it.
According to you, it is your 2nd time:
The first time is 99% a week silence.
It is normal for Blizzard to uphold their rules, equally to all players. The consequence of not listening is a penalty. As youâve noticed:
You did ânothingâ wrong, you just insulted them in a different language. That basically means you admitted to insulting other players in a different language attempting to be rude to them and avoid getting reported.
You realise that language can be translated and there are native speakers on staff if push comes to shove right?
In my CounterStrike days I know enough insults from Cyrillic writing players that I can easily recognise insults myself at a basic level.
Since this is your 2nd penalty, further penalties will be several weeks or longer. Up to a permanent ban if you wish to continue to harass your fellow players.
