You need to appeal to Blizzard not on forums, it will get fixed if justified if deserved and you know its deserved do not bother, and just learn from your mistakes.
I played all three seasons of DF and have never got suspended, Iâm not the best player either, but it is important to remain calm and also try to âworkâ as a team with your team mates to the best of your abilities.
You saved me from typing this exact kind of response, nice one.
Too be fair⊠OP said -if- I wanted too be rude. He didnât say he did.
you mean, you got mass reported so blizzard took a look and you had said some messed up stuff lol
These theads always make me laugh.
âI did nothing but insult people in a different language to avoid the penaltiesâ
Thatâs not nothing, accept the punishment and reform, or appeal, before it becomes permanent.
IIRC, attempts to bypass the system detecting insults (such as using another language, or replacing swear words in a way where itâs clear to the reader, that they are swearing) is also an offence, so in effect you have committed 2 offences.
Finally, Blizzard donât actually need a reason to suspend, silence or terminate your account, the TOS clearly states that they can for any reason or no reason at all.
I pushed Z to doubt
sorry to interrupt, but can you provide any evidence they are checking logs before suspension take place? In OW itâs automated, why would WoW be any different? I donât know this dude but mass report is definitely a thing.
yes mass reporting is a thing and i never wrote it wasnt but the only thing it can give is a silence.
lots of blue posts about it and if you just look on the video someone linked it clearly shows he just got silenced so there is your proof.
I watched that video but that is not proof they are looking at logs before bans take place. It seems to me this is the very same system that is in OW and that is fully automated, no real person watches anything until you appeal in a ticket. The silence is just the first punishment in a row, it graduates until the perma.
No, thatâs not true. It means that wowâs ban system deemed he did something against the rules. There is an appeal-system on customer support page, because moderation errors can happen. Your attitude of assuming guilt instantly is a bit weird.
in the video it clearly shows he only got silence so no bans isnt automated.
ban system is still not automated but silence is automated if enough report is there.
i never assumed anyone was guilty and that you assume that is your fault.
but since you wrote yourself the system deemed OP did something wrong shows you are assuming he did something wrong.
It doesnât matter, if itâs automated or not. Errors can always happen. If OP has a problem, he should just appeal it normally, so they can double-check. Only issue was that OP shouldnât appeal on forums, the rest is irrelevant for us.
i agree that errors can happen since we are all humans
you somehow fail to understand. The silence is the first brick, if you get âmass reportedâ or reported enough times again in a certain time period the punishment wonât be just a week-long silence anymore.
Everything points at the OW system, why would they use a different one for wow? Everything is automated in there, and they check the logs only when you appeal. The video showed you just the first step, he should have said to his audience to report him again. He didnât.
I have a 24 pack - of beerâŠ
Not sure how far the automated process goes and a human takes over in these cases
But mass false reports work, at least to some extent
I killed the undying laborer several times in SOD when people kited him to SW to get free weapon training (this was noisy and bugged surrounding npcâs)
It was hugely unpopular, I got various whispers of abuse and people where actively advertising in public chat to report me for griefing/sabotaging them ( baring in mind they are the ones abusing an exploit that stops players getting a rune)
During these, comically childish tug of wars, I would get constant DCâs and when logging back in chat was turned off
I would not DC at any other time, or have chat turned off at any other time
Coincidence?
/tinfoil hat is glued on AND ITS STAYING ON!
I would imagine though perhaps there is some alarm bell that goes off if someone gets in the region of 4k reports from some streamer and they might check it out, Iâm sure they must have a process for dealing with toxic streamers and their sheep in caseâs like this
but you stated yourself that the video isnt proof so where is your proof on that?
Well, that is what I want from you. I wanted to see proof they are looking at logs before a ban takes place, like you claimed, because it doesnât seem like it. I know for sure in OW it works like I stated, because back in my day I was very toxic in that game and I got punished mid-game right after the report reached the inner count. And the punishment is graduating because I eventually got the perma on that account, so thatâs how I know.
