True… But people should realize that “accusation is not conviction”.
But if you were accused of rape for example, it would be normal for your workplace to place you on paid administrative leave, pending the investigation.
That doesn’t mean your workplace is calling you guilty. They’re just showing that they’re taking the accusation seriously.

If he’s going to change his stance based upon the outcome, then it basically highlights how his opinion is nothing more than clickbait and he doesn’t feel a conviction in any direction. More fool the people who hang onto words that fall out of his mouth without realising he doesn’t believe a vast majority of them himself.
Using the potential misfortunes of others to generate your own clickbait is absolutely scumbag terrtory. You might call that stupid, that’s fine, i can live with that.

Well we are talking about Asmongold here… i watched one of his videos in youtube once… and all he did was swear and talk about his D*ck all the time and how things needed to suck it… couldnt even finish the video since it was such trash. so i wouldnt be the first person to listen to any of his advice or comments

this has become the norm in the us sadly, accusations = guilty no matter what the evidence says. Proved to be lies? nah too bad hes guilty “hes a man so he must have done something right?”
Why thank you good sir, but yeah, I knew what you meant, and yeah, weird that one of Englands greatest Villains(Largely undeserved) was in fact the one who gave us an enshrined human right that is globally held as a ‘good thing’
Prior to that, yeah, Medieval times were an utter mess of just being horrible to each other for the sake of it or because the pope said so! 
I’d actually completely agree. There were other good inventions from that era, but the fundamental right of a person to be innocent of a crime until it is proven that they committed it is so widely held as a universal truth, and the cornerstone of so many nation’s jurisdiction processes that yeah, I would actually agree. I don’t think any one person has ever had such a lasting impact on Law and what is deemed fair.
Still didn’t stop Shakespeare doing a hatchet job on him though, which is rather ironic, as Richard III was therefore always remembered as Guilty, despite not being able to prove his innocence.
But hey, thats how Irony works I guess.
Some find it entertaining, that’s fair enough, comedy is a personal taste.
It’s easy to find it funny when you’re not the one on the end of it. I doubt these people would be like “it’s just lolz chill m8” if their signficiant other, parent, or child were the ones being accused of something and he was the one using their situation (and fanning the flames) just because it gets him hits. Using their situation to boost his popularity by looking like he was “sticking it to the man” and then subsequently dropping their cause as soon as it becomes unpopular for him to support it.
He’s a windsock in so much as the persona he presents goes and has little-no integrity. The guy behind the personality i’ve got no idea. Could be the nicest bloke alive I wouldn’t know I doubt we’ve ever seen him.

Many pop culture figures have places in Warcraft. I bet you’re ok with the genie that is in game for Robin Williams, or any of the NPCs put in for anyone that died.

Re-add swifty’s character model until proven Guilty imo, it shouldn’t even be up for debate or even controversial matter. Internet or no internet as far as I am concerned hes innocent until proven guilty.

I am not saying it is right, I am saying when those things happen you are literally struck between being raged on by few because you took action against something too soon or be covered in poop by a storm of people because you did not say anything so you are “okay” with them.
Blizzard did it just not to be caught in the poopstorm. And it is perfectly normal for a company to do so.

Look at Swiftys response about his accuser. She has literally wrote a book saying all sorts.
They didn’t “nuke” the NPC, they just removed it from live servers. All internal data is still there. If he gets exonerated, it’s probably not more than two clicks to show it again, but while the accusation is there, Blizzard sure doesn’t want to associate with this person.

Because Swifty did that a long, long while back, and I know kids have short memories, but he did that, so regardless of this current thing, No, he did not and never did deserve an NPC.

He already did something worthy of a ban, so no.
Don’t care, he already abused the system and disrupted a realm or do Streamers somehow get weird special rights now?

For it to turn out better for him, would be for him to have a different personality and -not- be the problem he was?
That would involve some mental re-programming however, which is kinda morally dodgy…

Yeah he did. He purposefully crashed an RP Realm,exhorting his minions and lackwits to spout as much abusive stuff as they could. That got him his ban. They then protested disrupting the realm for a couple of weeks afterwards till they found another ‘celebrity’ to suckle from.
So yeah, He did. I’m not even touching the current situation, as I am not a lawyer, but yeah, he already did stuff worthy of a ban.

are you sure you’re not referring to Asmongold? I know Swifty got banned in 2011 for crashing 2-3 servers but I don’t believe any of them were a rp realm and even in those circumstances I can’t imagine him being that kind of person to insist on people spouting anything abusive/vulgar
