Sword'n'board and Devastate in Gladiator Stance

I am looking forward to play deep prot on my warrior in next phase and I’m excited for gladiator stance - that was a nice surprise to get as a bonus for warrs in the next phase.

The way i read the description on Devastate rune it will not work in gladiator stance and as such the whole synergy with Sword and board rune also falls off when swapping out of defensive stance.
Maybe it is intended so, it could be too much dmg but should it work, nevertheless it would be very strong for deep prot and a huge qol to have everything set up and take the whole spec and gear with the press of a keybind in dps mode when needed in raid or solo or pvp.

A solution would be to make devastate an ability and not a passive, so that we could drag it on the action bar and change the requirement from “while you are in defensive stance” to “requires defensive stance” like for example it reads on disarm.
Another solution could be to have Sword and board rune to proc from sunder armor and heroic strike as well, it would be a dmg loss but still retain some value from that rune.

All abillitys work in glad stance.
Devistate. But im not sure it will be a great tank stance. -30% armor and -10% threat is alot for a tank. Looks more like a dps stance/pvp. I also belive -10% threat gives u a chance to spamm devistate without taking agro off main tank

This would be great. I could only find ppl mentioning about it working on a different platform, just not the original message.

We do have confirmation by aggrend that devestate will work in glad stance. Cant find the original post though.

I’m not planning to use it for tanking and i don’t think it was even intended as such.
I also mentioned it would be great for those runes to work when swapping into glad stance in the middle of the fight; also great if it works while in open world/solo/pvp.

150% dmg before taking into account 5 sunder stacks, with a slow mh, spammable attack for a cost of 12 or even 9 rage if you go with the focused rage rune is looking pretty good.
