If her goal was to feed as many people to death as possible, why did she agree to a 1v1 with Saurfang, preventing the death of thousands and thousands? Even if her plan was to have them united so they can all die to N’zoth, the winners would still have to fight n’zoth regardless? All this does is increase their likelihood of winning.
Do you have a Sylvanas loyalist character?
I don’t, does this explain why she spares thousands of lives?
Yes, but I won’t spoil
No, but we don’t really know her motivation yet, or anything else really.
There’s an Old God running around, doing something. That’s all we know.
You and I seem to have seen different cinematics, then
I don’t think so.
Yet your conclusions are still on Legion level.
I mean i’m not going to level up a horde character to watch a cinematic. How does it explain her sparing the lives of thousands? But celeberating how many shes killed in the same breath?
Basically she calls for the loyalist player.
Shows abit concern if they were caught, talks about how she truly felt ( never cared for the living, pitied the forsaken ) and so tried to make the forsaken on her side of view, but the forsaken was stubborn and didn’t learn.
Then she goes on saying that she made a bargain with Azshara to pit the alliance and horde vs N’zoth, that he will kill a lot of them but in the end will probably die/serve death.
She then goes on to tell us that everyone will know the truth soon and the next time she meets us we will understand.
I think many people misunderstand that she serves death, imo she doesn’t because she herself in a previous part of the game said " death is mine to master "
Thanks for that…but it still doesn’t explain the enormous plot hole of her walking away from an opportunity to kill thousands more . Her whole goal was to kill as many as possible?
Also…the horde and alliance were united prior to all of this, they would have fought n’zoth together anyway??
Also, wtf happened to the azerite we were battling over?
Offfttt ah well, the cinematic was cool as hell, beautifully executed. The story just has more holes than swiss cheese
I dont know if a warchief could avoid the makgora
wow. gamepedia. com/ Mak%27gora
probably refusing the dual would have weakened the loyality of the loyalists
I read topic as: Sylvanas and her 4DD chest for some reason…
pretty much, she would have come out as an coward and a weakling had she refused the Makora, and the war would most likely have ended anyways,
But then this whole thing undermines her character entirely because she’s been outsmarted by an old Orc. If she’s the evil genius blizz are trying to portray her as, how could she not have anticipated him calling for a 1v1 death duel?
I only take issue with this because i feel like the art team are doing such an incredible job, meanwhile the class development and story is just an utter mess.
Yes. definitely. The begin wasnt bad. But after the imprisonment of Lady Ashvane the writing fell in a big dark cave.
Wait, there’s a story ? Where ?
Mak’Gora means nothing to Sylvanas, or anyone that is not an orc in that matter. I’m pretty sure she accepted because she was certain she could beat him, as clearly showed in the cinematic she totally could. Also she knows rejecting the challenge will bolster the morale of those sided with Varok and also cause some distress and lose of morale in her own ranks.
The only thing that doesn’t make sense to me is how all of a sudden Sylvanas lost her temper and in a single moment lost her entire army and thus prematurely ending the war. This doesn’t seem like her to me.
You know what i hate about BFA lore? All IT SEEMS coming from 2 tantrums from Sylvanas. A little weak.
Or maybe is all in Nzoth’s plan…
