I’m with the Horde since I started playing WoW. I love its lore, characters, areas. Sylvanas was my most favourite leader. Now, I do hope we can kill her, for good, in the new raid. For that dumb woman I had to go into the Maw, do diabolically cumbersome Torghast, quest in painfully ugly Shadowlands, grind as I never had to, and be offered the most unpleasing mounts ever. They didn’t let me kill Jaina, I hope I can finish off that annoying cow!
That’s all. Just wanted to rant. I “love” this expansion so much that I often catch up with my Draenor archeology
But it’s not that they aren’t well designed mounts; green fell goo just really doesn’t appeal to my personal taste. The same can be said of SL mounts in their way. They’re usually very nice in terms of graphics, but if you don’t like the theme, you’ll still not like them no matter how well they’re implemented.
Also yes, Sylvanas needs to go. There is a point at which a redemption arc really doesn’t fit, and she passed that point a while back.
(Unless the redemption arc somehow reverses everything she’s been responsible for and it turns out it was her plan all along to undo it all.)

Although ‘she’s muh queen’, she has become a bit of a cheesy pantomime villain.

All that charcoal, burnt wood and ‘Elf fertilizer’ is great for the soil, though, so silver linings an’ all that.

Anything other than a quick death where she isn’t allowed to come to terms with her actions and apologise is going to be poor writing and I’ll hate it.
But I already know we’re going to get her to 1% HP, she’ll fall to the floor, someone will go to strike her down and then do that thing where they’re all high and mighty… “no, I’m not a murderer… killing a murder makes me no better…” forgetting about the fact that killing someone who has mass murdered thousands is actually not really the same thing as murdering said murderer.
Then out of nowhere she’ll be redeemed and fade off into the abyss to “find herself”.
Or probably ascend and become some Kyrian paragon or something laughable like that.
God damn it, that’s whats going to happen, now I’ve said it I can see it unfolding right before my eyes, she’s going to find peace and ascend.

I’m with you. He’s bland, uninteresting and pompous. I never understood why was he chosen as the leader of the Alliance. They had so many more experienced people (sensu lato) to consider: Velen or Tyrande, for example. Yet, this little boy got it. Yeah, I will gladly visit his funeral!
wouldnt it be great if the boy-king, jaina AND sylvanas got killed off … think id soil my pants in joy. All three are just awful chars and need to go. Personally, id prefer jaina and the boy-king to die and sylvanas to receive an eternal punishment but not killed. Y’know, her body and soul are used to plug up the maw or some such.
There might be a chance that the sylvanas were seeing is only a fragment of her. When arthas killed her frostmourne shattered her soul similar to what happened with Uther, Wich means she most likely wont be gone, And hopefully we will discover her missing part.

Sylvanas and Nath needs to become the leaders of the hard faction and rule together with an iron fist.
Leading their armies of battle hardened badasses that stayed loyal to war against the soft faction.
The soft would be led by the power couple Bane and Anduin who has a dreamy troupe of yoga instructers, influencers and peaceniks to unite the “mean” races under the rainbow flag of the united friendship alliance where everyone is equal but unique. No matter what horrors or genocide they suffer they will turn the other cheek.
At this point I’m like, just do whatever with her, as long as she’s not the center of the attention in an expansion, holy molly had enough of her manipulating crap, kill her off or bench her like Khadgar
It makes me sad how bad ending of story Shadowlands gave to Sylvanas and Arthas. From powerfull, dramatic, heroic and morally grey characters to puppets of bald noname guy who is like a 5th god of death.
Sylvanas deserve peacefull death like Arthas, but I’m afraid that Blizz would revive her in couple of years as nostalgia tool to bring up sub numbers just like they done with Lich King.
