Sylvanas Skin Tone + Choosing Covenant

Ok so, I googled long enough, time to ask.
I haven’t played WoW since the BFA launch, I returned some weekends ago when WoW was free, learned that you can be a Dark Ranger now and wanted to do that.
So I went to where the quest should be in Shadowlands aaaand no quest… I googled and it said I need to have a Covenant, which means I need to finish Shadowlands.
I made a new char and used the chromie thingy to level there. So far so good, but now I finished Revendreth and I am in front of Bolvor Calia and the Tal-Inara thing, but can do nothing? What do I need to do now to get my dark ranger skin?

You must be a Level 60 and choose a Covenant to start the quest.
Be a Hunter.
If you complete it with a different class, you will not receive the Dark Ranger armor appearance.
Call to Lordaeron starts in Oribos. Talk to Calia Menethil in The Enclave to get started. Even though the quest does not automatically appear in your Quest Log, you will see it on the map of Oribos.
Hunters can buy Ensemble: Dark Ranger’s Attire from Outfitter Reynolds in the Trueshot Lodge for 1,000 Gold after completing the questline.

You may or may not have to skip skip skip the storyline, untill Calia offers the quest, but If I remember correctly, it is automatic

Oh then it has to be the level 60 thing… well that’s dissapointing, was hyped to finish doing the quest today.

Thank you!

If they haven’t done Shadowlands before they likely can’t skip that much. Skips are usually for alts once a main has already done the story.
Not sure how much of hte story is needed for the Dark Ranger though. I’m sure wowhead will know.

YEP! I didn’t have the quest on the char I used my free boost on, so just being level 60 isn’t enough.
Now I’ve hit 60 with the Char I have done all the Story Quests in and could do the quest
