I do agree on this point, it’s like people are yelling at blizzard for writing their own story.
While speculating and thinking what ifs are cool I do find it quite funny that simply a poster saying they like Sylvannas was enough to get their post buried.
Some weeks ago a guildie asked if they should betray Sylvanas or remain loyal in the quest line.
Guild chat was all social justice incorporated for the next 15 minutes. But then none of them would say anything if they encountered a homophobic or racist remark.
Goes to show how people are just trash, really, armchair warriors as long as it fits their narrative.
She’s not a saint. She’s an over the top obsessed prison guard. And if you play warcraft 3 story, you’ll see that she basically only cares about one thing. Hunting illidan down. She even tricked malfurion just to make sure that he’d help her with the hunt. The game definitely didn’t make her a saint.
Blizzard can make their own story and everything, its their game after all.
But with every movie or game, will or may not get criticized for bad handling of the product that they own, like star wars for examble.
You don’t need to tell me that they don’t need to give a f*** when they have loyal fanbase that is diminishing bit by bit.
You can do anything what you want to sylvanas, just keep her out of my screen and put her into somewhere else where she doesn’t feel like a spoiled rotten corpse that deserves everything on her way.
Because by this moment sylvanas has f**** up everything, no point on liking her unless you like to be spit on while you keep simping for her.

I hope Sylvanas will be killed in 1st raid tier in Shadowlands so we can see some new meaningful heroes, her attitude and hate to whole world is depressing and irritating. She was seeking vengeance on Arthas in WotLK, but later on she hasn’t any reason to be such unnice, it is like others told already, poor storytelling, Blizzard forgot to change her attitude after fall of Arthas.
oh, and baine, thrall and saurfang saying honor once every 2 sentences is so much more interesting?
As for not wanting to die, you know she’s immortal right? If her plan was to just live forever, she could have easily avoided making enemies and lived for eternity, while remaining the leader of the forsaken.
The thing is, most of the people who don’t like her, are just annoyed by the current story, and mostly pissed off about her beating the lich king. For me, She was one of the first characters i’ve seen in warcraft 3. I’ve seen her story back then from beginning, till her death, her betrayal of arthas and eventual storyline that resulted in the formation of the forsaken. She’s been one of the first characters i quested for in wow as well.
But yea… She’s Hot, so it’s all irrelevant. Thrall holding a glowing dinner plate and beating one of the most badass characters in the history of this game was so much better than her 1v1ing a beta lich king with no frostmourne.

Most ppl cant write normal post that dont mention her look how she is hot and Tendrassil . If anyone is tactful in the whole story it is Sylvanas, she dont do anything without reason… Just we still dont know what is it.
Don’t forget the betrayal of her sisters and racist humans what made story even more worst.I wouldn’t be surprised if Jailor was her brother Lirath or have something to do with Sl. Or maybe she wanted him to save because that she made deal with Jailor. In any case, she is very attached to her family no matter what.
It’s true that she still has some levels of emotion for her sisters. As for her brother, No one even knows who he is and what the hell happened to him anyways.
If blizzard comes up with a lame story as her making a deal with jailer to save her brother, even i won’t defend it. It’s terrible.
Right now, i’m one of those people that wants to wait and see what happens, because i believe her story has potential. But if blizzard ruins her with a terrible story, then there’s nothing to defend.
Lirath was killed when a group of orcs cut their way into Quel’Thalas.
That is just mine thought, maybe dont have some mayor story in Sl but I think we will see him there. She is afraid of death ( afterlife ) even she is dead xDDD But beyond this must have another reason why she is start this all. It is not yet clear to me what kind of agreement she made with Helya.

Sex Sells is boring and also a huge problem in WoW itself thanks due to Blood Elfs on Horde for example.
She is NOTHING but eye candy for the basement dwelling female belf lovers… ughhh i hate her so much (i love worgens and what that wench did to them makes me soooo mad ! Grrr !)
