Amid all the chaos transpiring and the new datamined broadcast texts and blizzard still keeping all this mistery about Sylvanas’s real plans. All seems that the story is going into a SOO 2.0 direction which still could be possible. But what is her real plan? To kill alliance then horde? Make everyone undead?
I think Sylvanas’ plan is way more sinister than that. I think in her mind she has what seems to be the solution to end all problems. You see after the fight with the burning legion and the introduction of the void Sylvanas figured out something, only a fully purely pragmatic psychopathic mindset like her’s would come up with.
What is the reason of all these problems that we ever faced? Sargeras, the old gods, the titans, the void lords what do they all want?
Yes you guessed it Azeroth!!!
So how do you end all of this? You kill the titan soul of Azeroth?
You see the void lords want to corrupt the world soul, the legion wan’t to destroy everything, the lich king wanted to unite everyone under his reign to fight the legion and old gods.
But how do you guarantee they will never come back? Remove their reason to be there in the first place and that’s why everyone is against her including the void, elune, the light and even forces of death. And that’s why she hasn’t shared this plan with anyone, because who the hell in their living mind would agree to such a plan, who accept such a sacrifice certainly not anyone in who values life.
So yeah that is why we probably will be fighting Sylvanas at the end of this expansion but not because all the other reason, because she is literally trying to kill Azeroth, you see in her mind the only way we can end the war not just the war against the alliance no but all wars, against the legion against the old gods all of the them, is to remove the reason for those wars hence the title Battle for Azeroth.
In her plan she doesn’t care if the world is ruined? She only cares for herself and the forsaken and they have no need for a beautiful vibrant world, they just need a world with no wars and no dangers.

I like your idea, but I am pretty sure that we will have a Kerrigan-arc. Suddenly Blizzard reveals that Sylvanas had a big plan all along (even though there were no hints at all) and everyone will accept it. Except Tyrande who will end as a raid boss.

Oh, and so the reason why she started a genocidal world war is because she is scared that the others wouldn’t understand? After she had the gall to show Garrosh that the new Forsaken reproduction methods are basically the Lich King’s methods?

I think and I hope that Sylvanas is going after the throne of Helya, Not sure if she want to take over her but we know that they have a deal since Legion and through the Island expedition that Helya is still alive and actually stronger.
Also i’m pretty sure that Helya is the boss of Bwonsamdi …She’s death.

At this point I hope it is anything but her going Garrosh 2.0… even the Kerrigan arc if we get rid of her afterwards is fine. To me there is nothing I could imagin that would justify anything she did.
To be honest OPs idea sounds like something I would actually buy AND which could be used to reunite the two sides of the Horde atm. At least to a certain degree, no one in their right mind should support Azeroths death.

Actually we are killing Azeroth by collecting the Azerite (his blood). Magni is puppet and Sylvanas too . Maybe we have to change the planet after BfA

I think that it’s much more possible to have a sundering 2.0, a new cataclysm.
I would not be to supriced if Sylvanas is in league whit the old gods buy now, and in some way is planing everything in andvance, already knowing the outcome in some way.
also i doubt she dies, even if we end up fighting her, but instead she escapes, eighter buy her self or whit help from Nathanos and some old god thingy, and after that starts to reform the Black empire whit N´zoth or something like that.
After many new cataclysms and world shattering events in yearly occurences later…
