N’zoth killed us so we’re all dead and stuck in the Shadowlands but don’t realise it because N’zoth is a master manipulator. Since undead seem pretty immune to Old God whispers, Sylvanas isn’t fooled by this illusion and comes to the Shadowlands to set us all free. We will then return to find the Black Empire reborn on Azeroth and have a whole expansion of dealing with N’zoth, where he won’t be defeated by a mere meme-beam. What happened to the 4D chess and mysterious motivation post-suicide? Bah, we’ll brush those under the rug…
