Sylverian Dreamer confirms Dragon Isles 9.0

So since Blizzard has done this before:
Fey Dragon releases during MoP and its a unique model only seen in Shadowmoon Valley, hinting at WoD

Mystic Runesaber releases in WoD very similar to the Suramar mounts hinting at Legion

Luminous Starseeker releases in Legion, its a Bioluminescent cat similar in look to things in Nazjatar, hinting at Nazjatar(BFA)

And now we have the Sylverian Dreamer, an avian looking dragon mount that is completely unique in model, hinting at ???
So Dragon Isles is confirmed for next expac then?

We would have ventured into them anyway, i’m not sure if the Sylverian Dreamer could be really an hint, but we have some Blacktalon Agents (Wrathion agents) in the quests for the essences of the Earth of Azeroth, and before that, a quest item dropped from the Island Expedition before patch 8.2 hinted at the Dragon Isles as well.

Well the Starseeker is just an Argus mob with wings but the Iron skyreaver did show up before WoD so its a possible theory alright!

i dont no much about these islands, but old gods tmog and mounts arent what i will ever care about visually, so it will be a good time to do pure progression only and no grind for me.
good for a change.

Maybe they can actually do some justice to wrathion then and explain why the hell he was absent during legion. ya know the whole reason he wanted the horde and alliance united was to stop the legion.

The thread wasnt about how Blizzard chooses to monetise their game.
I don’t give a flying f*ck if they release store mounts, i’ve never bought one and never will.

The thread was about the pattern of the store mounts and how they conviently seem to be skinned around the next expansions content when they are a very unique model at the time

There are 100 other threads complaining about the concept of secondary monetisation, go post there

Well sorry to hurt your feelings. Besides I don’t really see a pattern about the store mounts to hint for future expansions themes.

If anything, next expac might be old god/void related but we might get a patch with dragons. I just don’t see a whole expansion about them.

It’s not exactly solid evidence, but it’s enough to make some fun speculations.

I think Nyalotha will feature in 9.0. But it won’t be purely an Old God theme. Blizzard know they can’t do that, people get sick of it. Hence why we get zones like Nagrand(s), Sholazar Basin and what not. So Dragon Isles could be the theme breaker of 9.0.

Dragon isles. Can’t wait to see it confirmed in Blizzcon. Actually, i can’t wait to know where the next expansion will take place :smile:

Can you actually imagine a dragon themed expansion with flying gated? Because that’s what you are going to get. You know, those dragons man…they just forget how to fly every expansion :eyes:
