Im currently farming t3 druid set on BMAH, i was wondering is their any replica pieces for this set i can still obtain in the game? for instance rogues can get ziethut’s lost treads instead of the bonescythe boots. Wondering as a piece could save me some gold
Isn’t wowhead meant to help with stuff like this?
AllTheThings addon should help you with that. It shows under any items every other item that shares the same appearance.

Yes and no.
For some reason Wowhead on the page of a given item doesn’t show just the items that have the same appearance id for the transmog collection. It shows every item that has the same model, including recolors, which of course won’t unlock the transmog. In the case of Tier 3, it mixes on the item page Tier 3 with all variants of Tier 7 because both use the same model with different colors.
But given this set in particular has is listed as a set on Blizzards collection if you check the transmog set page in Wowhead it shows only the items that will complete the transmog set and therefore unlock the achievement.
But for any non-set items or items that are part of a set that is not in the transmog collection as a set like for example random world green items, Wowhead doesn’t help. Transmog addons are a better option.
From what I can find there’s a couple of recolours but no replica pieces.
Yeah, some T3 sets have replicas for some items, mostly from TBC, reducing the price to get the set (for example, Paladin Tier 3 has a replica of the belt on one TBC raid) but druid set has none of them.

I don’t want to sound obvious but maybe it’s a unique skin colour?
I was under the impression this is something we can only acquire via the BMAH now. People even create characters on quieter realms to keep an eye on the items which in turn has meant more people are bidding on them, pushing the prices up.
That’s because there’s 1 replica per armor type. The plate replica is for paladin belt (Lurker’s Girdle), leather has rogue boots, cloth has a mage piece (don’t know which one as I don’t play cloth classes though) and mail I actually don’t know.
