Tabards and dungeons

So im lvl 83. I bought tabard for one of reps.
Im doing rdf and it does not give any reputation? Why?
People told me that “end of rdf’s” give rep. So what? 84-85 or 85 lvls normals give rep but lower not? What is the sense to get tabard from Vashjir (80-82 lvl) if im doing normals at 83 and get 0 rep?

Ok. So maybe it will give me rep when it will be rhc.
But at rhc lvl (ilvl) getting blue items from rep vendor is useless because i actualy earned better gear that im able to get from rep vendor?

Rep from tabard is active from max 85 lv is is more worth to spam hc dungeons for it.
Rep vendors don’t give only blue items they give epic gear 359 ilvl as enchant for helm and shoulders.
Would suggest you to read wowhead article to see which rep is more usable to your class and spec…

Important question is, which tabard are you using?
The cata faction tabards should be working in dungeons, no matter if hc or not.
Guild tabard and older faction tabards do not provide rep in cata dungeons.

Only if it’s a 85 dungeon.
City of Tolvir, Throne of the tides, blackrock etc will not give rep on normal.

There are non-85 dungeons that give reputation like Halls of Origination, Grim Batol and Lost City of Tol’vir, iirc
