Plus, 2400 players already unlock a cosmetic reward: Elite PvP weapons.
They also unlock the ugly pennant at that rating. That’s 3 cosmetic rewards for reaching 2400 rating, whereas there is none for reaching 1950 rating.
In my opinion, tabards should become the reward for reaching 1950, so that there is always something to look forward to, at any skill level.

I just think it’s weird that every time you reach a new PvP threshold, you earn a new cosmetic, except for 1950 - whereas 2400 gives you 3 different cosmetic rewards.
Which is pretty high this early into the season…

Blame Blizzard for making elite sets 1800 and now 1600 this season. Breaking 1.9k for that 2k set was your reward, but thanks to dumb threads like this Blizzard changed it

I’m simply pointing out that reaching 1950 rating grants exactly 0 reward - not even a title, because you already get the Rival title at 1800.
Meanwhile, playing at 2400 CR, you get up to 5 rewards: two titles, elite weapons, a tabard and a pennant.
It does seem like a perfectly reasonable suggestion to move one of the many 2400 rewards down to the 1950 rating threshold.
I think you’re coping and just want the tabard. You’ve decided to tell yourself the tabard is always ugly so you don’t feel bad about not getting them. Your actual thought slips through when you ask them to reduce the rating requirement by 450 points.
I think you should just try to improve and get 2400. I have one gladiator tabard and I wear it most of the time. I am proud of it. I would not be proud of it if I got it at 1950 through shuffle. It would just be another worthless tabard, like Tabard of Brute Force at that point.
Your FOMO is getting the better of you, like those people that think the Spectral Tiger is ugly, but beg for it to be a Twitch drop. Just admit you like the tabards, you like the prestige of the tabards too and you wish to have it. You need your mind working with itself in order to improve and get the tabard, though.

Now that tabard is fire.
WoD tabards? All ugly.
Legion tabards? Some “okay” tabards, but mostly ugly.
BFA tabards? All ugly.
Shadowlands tabard? Not that ugly, but very bland, and all recolours.
Dragonflight tabards? All ugly.
It’s not a cope. It’s the truth. They really put 0 effort into gladiator tabard: most reputation tabards look better than Elite PvP tabards that are 10 times harder to get.
I don’t have Gladiator mounts either, but I’m not calling them ugly, am I? Because it would be foolish of me to say that last season’s gladiator mount wasn’t amazing. It was, it looked great.
The tabard though? Meh, as usual.
Legion and BFA had some very good tabards imo, but yeah DF season 2 tabard is just wack
Its crazy to me that “black dragonflight’s tabard” a literal random quest reward from zaralek caverns looks way better than 2400 pvp s2 tabard, they should be swapped around imo

Now, compare them to all the Elite PvP tabards since WoD.
It’s not even close. There’s love and care put into the Reputation tabards, whereas the PvP ones are just an afterthought.
Again, what you’re saying does not line up with what you want. As an example - I think the meta achievement mount for the raid this patch is garbage. I won’t try to get it and I don’t want it and I wouldn’t use it if I did have it. I don’t want them to make it so you can get it by just killing some bosses on LFR. I don’t want it, I don’t want them to nerf it. It never enters my mind and I will likely never try to get it, even 4 years from now.
You on the other hand are saying: all of these tabards are so ugly! i don’t want them! no one wants them! yuck! lets just coincidentally move them to a rating that is below the rating I am already at, so I coincidentally get these tabards i 100% promise i do not want because look how ugly they are, yucky!!!

You can move the new pennant at 1950 if you really want to keep the ugly tabards prestigious.
I guarantee you, none of the tabards released in the past 7 years is appealing to me.

There is 0. But there are 5 rewards for 2400.
Alternatively we could move the tabard to 2700. Right now you get rewards from 1200-1800 at 200 rating intervals, then it goes to 300 from 1800-2100-2400, and then you don’t get anything from 2400-3000+. You need to be like 3250 just to get rank 1 title.
So lets move it to 2700 instead of 1950, since your issue is filling gaps. That why its a nice smooth 200 x 4, 300 x4 
Sure. I’m all for giving more rewards to 2700 and even 3000 rated players.
Considering you only post that because you literally never reached 2400 on any character in any bracket i’d say no, i’m against that.
Also your post screams of hypocrisy. You call the tabards ugly and then proceed to ask for them to be unlocked at 1950. Why? Because that’s the rating you can reach.
