Take up Arms with Midnight’s PvP Updates

PvP doesn’t need new content, let alone one inspired by Alterac Valley when that BG itself needs a complete rework, closely followed by Ashran.

PvP needs to become a better experience, here’s my two cents on it:

  1. Take a stand against hackers
  2. Take a stand against queue-syncers
  3. Reduce CC in PvP instances (For Light’s sake!)
  4. Rework Alterac Valley and Ashran (Optional)

If only Arms warrior wasn’t an outdated joke…

Blizzard, are these the only updates for the new expansion?
When will PvP talents be revamped? This “system” has been here since BFA, it feels outdated. It doesn’t have to be perfect from the start ,just bring something new, and with feedback it can be improved.
What about honor levels? Past 500 there are no rewards.
Can we also address:
The issues with premades in non-rated PvP.
Exclusive rewards for 2v2 Arena and RBG (Blitz has taken over and RBGs lost popularity).
PvP boxes and weekly PvP quests giving at least some gold rewards.
Non-dedicated PvPers often hear “go do PvE for gold”, but the opposite should also apply: PvPers should have fair ways to sustain gold through PvP.

Death to premades!

Can we fix the Premade infestation that is currently killing the Epic BGs bracket? It’s very tedious to queue to this type of content as Horde or Alliance.
Oftentimes you get into a team that is getting obliterated at one of the graveyards without even being able to move your character - this especially happens in Wintergrasp.

It must be fun for the people who are getting hundreds of thousands of kills but the consequences of this is that people who are not playing with premades effectively have to leave the battleground or AFK as it is impossible to play your character or have any chance against the enemy team.

“ While players can expect winrates higher than 50%, the game-controlled opponents will not be pushovers. Skill and coordination will be required to achieve victory!”

I was always curious if it ever happened that the NPCs won in Comp Stomp. Guess it will be a possibility in Midnight.

Looking forward to a new Epic BG, would be cool if it was something like old Ashran, where you can just join and it lasts as long as you want it to.

I honestly can’t even see the fun in it on premade side, I always /afk if I get grouped up with these guys, just snoozefest GY farming and it seems like they do this all day long.

You can’t stop people from playing casual games with their friends. If premades are such a bugbear for you, you can always group up with your friends, too.

Dead content as long as pre-mades of failed Rated PvP players hold it hostage via queue syncing.

Exactly, could ask that what pvp updates, there is literally nothing done on what should be done about the issues people have said for healers gain less rating in solo shuffles and what their outdated rated system is now causing for the actual end game in arenas for people wishing play this game as group. The only some change I saw that helps little were lowering elite, glad, legendary, strategist requirement from 2400 to 2300, issue with deflated game modes still remain though if their rated system is participation based per each modes and they keep adding separate new modes to the mix without doing any compensation or rework on the now outdated rated system failing because they split the playerbase in multiple different rated modes.

So we got a great update on Diminishing Returns:

If it wasn’t for Bellular, I would have missed this. We’ll have to wait and see how impactful it’s going to be but it is definitely a step in the right direction.

Honestly, I was pretty disintrested in Midnight but this, the Holy Priest pruning and the transmog improvements have put me back on board.

Grouping up with your friends is fine, making a 5 man premade, that will then be thrown into a match with 5-10-35 other players they’re not communicating directly with.

But once you go up against a Premade of 15 or 40 people, that’s no longer just your friends.
