"Taking The Air Out" quest discussion

Hey guys,
According to documentation, “taking take air out” hasn’t been up in Mechagon since June 30th.
This quest is an objective of “a Direct Approach”, but only when “waste not” isn’t up, which didn’t occur since June 30th, to my knowledge.
I’m not sure if a months gap is a usual thing and would like to hear your thoughts about this, as it stalls our completion of the Mechagon meta achievement.
Thank you

The insane thing that 30 june It was bugged. With active quest there were no balloons. After daily quests CD reset the item and quest itself gone. Some people lucky who had item could re get quest and do it even without active area.

so what are we supposed to do?
its phased out again today by “waste not”!

I feel like this quest has a secret trigger, no one knows about. But if this is the case it should not have been up in the first week at all. If it actually rotates with the quest “Waste Not”, this should be fixed anyway. Sorry, but waiting for a quest to pop up is just annoying and frustrating.
For me this truly ruined the whole meta achievement. It always felt rewarding knowing you are one of the first ones completing something, after putting effort and time into something. This reward is basically gone with such an rng time gating. If it takes another 3-4 weeks for the quest to pop up, everyone who is going for the meta ach will just be done simultaneously making the mount feel worthless.

The GM said that they could not restore item if I even had it at first time looted. And have to wait the fix. So unfair that bug is ignored so long time. And there nothing to people who had an item and quest 30 june.
Its not players fault.

They are also not releasing any events in mechagon and nazjatar because of wow classic test, which is really annoying since it shouldn’t affect our gameplay.
Blizzards content is great, but sometimes i wish they weren’t such jerks.
