There are way to many options for me. Is there a guide somewhere saying what to take to make it good?

just for min\maxers. i sincerly dont care about it so ill use the talents as i prefer.

As i understood the new system, there should be allready templats built in to the system for players to use and also players can share the talent trees they made to other players so theres many options to find what suits you.
Though im not sure are these available yet as i have not tested the current build myself yet, but this is what i have gathered from various sources.

This is such a false statement. Every encounter has different requirements. Dps isn’t the only important thing in a fight. And the type of dps, cooldowns timers etc. Really unless you are high end mythic raiding guild, pushing m20s or glad, there’s plenty of choice to be made.

There can’t possibly be just one bis for the entire playerbase. Some players are good at reaction gameplay, some aren’t. Depending on how good a player is at maintaining dmg while moving, instant cast vs over time dmg will have different result. Some are good at managing a lot of spells and some would completely plummet their dps by being overwhelmed and would do better with more passives instead of active spells.
There may be one absolute best build for one specific player and he will probably post it on wowhead. To assume that that build will be the best choice for everyone though is a bit weird.

I think it is great though can be overwhelming at first. I’m like a kid in a sweet shop who wants everything but can’t.

Yeah no, for alot of classes there are 3 or 4 established bis builds for different damage profiles.
A minmaxer will alternate between those dependent on content.
The mentality of 1 build is BiS is a casuals reality, as casuals do simply just pick 1 build and use that in every encounter.
While i cant stand Lilith she meant that there is a bis build for each specific scenario.
It’s too much yes but don’t worry the stuff to click are just stuff that you had baseline yesterday with some very few new stuff mixed with covenant/older stuff.
It’s illusion of choice and they are fkn terrible.
