Talon's Vengeance: Needs Change

What is Talon’s Vengeance?
Talon’s Vengeance is a PVP Reputation in Legion.

To gain Reputation with this faction, you have to kill players while under the effect of Ivory Talon or Ivory Feather. This will award Marks of Prey at 100 Rep each.

The Ivory Talon issue:
Ivory Talon is only usable in Legion PVP and Falcosaur WQ area’s. Nowhere else. Needless to say for most realms, these area’s are devoid of people.

Unbuffed, you need to kill 90 players to get to Honored, and everytime you kill someone, it gives them a 10 minute debuff that prevents you from gaining Marks from them during that time. So even if, by rare chance, you do find a person there, you’ll probably only get 1 Mark from them.

So what do people do? Wintrade!
Because that is the ONLY realistic way of getting to Honored nowadays. People will trade kills between eachother. This is against the TOS and on paper, could earn you a suspension.

I absolutely do not recommend wintrading for anything, but for this, we are almost forced to - as there is no other option!

Why Honored?
At Honored, you will get access to the Ivory Feather. Unlike the Talon, this is usable in Battlegrounds, Ashran and Wintergrasp, allowing players to avoid breaking the TOS and actually farm this up to Exalted in a reasonable and legitimate way.

The Solution:
Make the Ivory Talon do the same as the Feather, or allow purchase of the Ivory Feather at Neutral.

Because there are rewards tied to this Reputation (Ivory Hawkstrider, Mount) it is still something a handful of people want to farm. The Neutral → Honored part is a roadblock that you can’t get past unless you break Blizzard’s rules and risk account action. So this needs a fix, and soon.

I doubt they’re paying that much attention to this kind of thing, it’s not wintrading in a ranked setting, it’s an open world currency/rep that had no impact on player power or even current content.

Have you tried the Day of the Dead ‘‘contender’’ toys?

I remember doing Halaa tokens in Nagrand with me and one of my friends using them and I’m pretty they worked with the MoP bloody Coins from the Firewatchers’ Oath item, so they might work the Talon’s Vengeance.

Also, if I remember correctly you can use them against the same faction players, I did against my friend’s Human DK on my Draenei Mage (at one point this even worked raid-wide, no idea if it still does).
