Im looking to tame [Loque’nahak] by flying around at the spawnpoints and having rare scanner addons, but i dont get to it find once after hours/days of flying around.
So i have the question if there is someone that can invite me into their group on a dead server, where its perma up, so i get to tame it without having to grind spawnpoints for idk how long?
Or if you have any other tips for me what i can do, or how i can go onto other realms by myself without server tranfers?
What helped me was sharding into a very low-pop realm (RP realms can be good for this).
First I parked my hunter in the middle of the area, then I made a trial mage character, teleport to Dalaran and flew from there. I then checked all the spots for him. If he wasn’t there, repeat on another realm.
If he was, I set up a custom group, alt-f4’d the game, logged on my hunter and applied to join the group, then alt-f4 swapped back to the mage to accept, alt-f4’d back to hunter to shard in and tame.
It’s a bothersome process, but it works. There is some contention as to whether force shutting down the game is needed, but I chose not to risk it.
