I had to revive the dwarf at least 20+ times in an Excavation Site 9 delve. Rare Mobs like Underpin fans should be a challenge but he dies to the regular trash just as easily.

this char I am using, so dps. he held his own before the reset and dies only if he stupidly pulls way too many.
now 2 non elites does him in.

i was really enjoying delves now it sucks and stressfull i hate it.

I was wondering if I maybe needed to just keep levelling him again, but yeah as a tank he seems to get smoked rather a lot.
well you for sure want to get strong curios to 4/4 because that will make massive difference.

Perhaps I need to go back to lower level delves and get him around 35-40 but man I dont want to imagine the shredding. Thankfully if he dies, my Felguard can distract them long enough so I can revive the brat.
My Brann is in the high 50s and he’s just made of paper…

Or use dos / healer Brann ? That is clearly what Blizzard wants.
All the spam healing in the world (+convoke & Treants) won’t save Brann in undermine delves if he engages one friggin’ ogre elite in T11. Level 65, or something (I forgot).
I’ve to vortex kite/run away until he respawns infront of me so I can ress him back up.

Tank Brann is intended to have a healer support him. If you’re playing as a DPS use Healer Brann. I’m sailing through Delves on my DPS characters just fine using Healer Brann.

I’d need him to tank to do the t11 delver achis but I can’t make it work. First of all, I watched the guides about his curios, I’ve got 4/4 dino curio applied but I havent seen him spawning a single egg to help him surviving. My Brann is lvl64 currently. He dies to moderate pulls and to lieutenant mobs, not to mention the end bosses if he makes it through.
Should I level him further before I make him tank a t11?
I really wanted to solo everything but Brann is no help just a liability.
Yeah it’s sadly. Wished Brann could more buff tank like stronger.
But, still work for cloth classes like mage and priest (shadow). Use magic damage enemies a lot fast kill and Brann keep aggro them. Brann still survise.
Once I tried warlock. But seem dont well. I let demon tank and brann healer.
Other non-cloth classes cant use tank Brann .
That’s because Pre-patch Brann was doing the heavy lifting and taking/doing a lot of damage. It made Tank Brann far too easy to clear the Delves with, even as a DPS.
The whole point was that it was an alternative for players that wanted to complete a delves as a healer.
I’ll admit though, it was a lot of fun while it lasted, but considering that you would get 639 gear at a 600 ilvl as the player, was a little bit much.

Out of interest earlier, I ran 3 x 11s as a disc priest with Bran in his tank spec. Normally I run them as shadow with him healer. It felt a bit slower with him tanking, but safer, I barely took any damage and he was very healable. He did need additional healing on top of atonement at times.
I wouldn’t use his tank spec with anything but a healer. However, it is nice to have the option to play a healer in the higher delves for a change.
