Tanks in Solo Rated Battlegrounds?

Will tanks be able to queue for solo rated battlegrounds, or will it be limited to just DPS and healers?

Team Composition

  • Each team will be comprised of 2 healers, 5-6 damage dealers, and 0 to 1 tank.
  • Opposing teams will always have the same number of tanks (0 or 1)
  • Matches that do not include a tank will not take place on any Capture the Flag maps such as Warsong Gulch and Twin Peaks.
  • Matches that have a tank as a part of the team will occur on any available map.

Yes tank will be able to get solo rated battleground

They will get also more chance to get map with flag

Only a tank get queue if an another tank in front is in queue too

The original post was on the section beta development, after each end of beta they delete the section so i couldn’t find a way to link it ( tried to see on wowhead if they kept the blue post in their website but i didn’t saw much)

here the closest i could find even if had a change for ranked battleground for tanks for RSB in the beta so possible it is less accurate) on team composition :

Ok, because I don’t remember any such statement about tanks preferentially getting WSG/Twin Peaks and I don’t think this is true (unfortunately).
