So my main never earned any echoes, now gets inflated amounts of echoes.
However it will take me atleast a week or more to catch up to alts that where able to get ecjoes over the past months.
Just some math:
7 emissaries a week: 1750 echoes
Level 15 m+ key: 225 echoes
Weekly m+ cache (lvl 15) 1500 echoes
Full horrific vision clear: 750 echoes
And i could add the rest, although even by doin the above tasks on my main for 2 weeks straight, i am barely catching up to said alts.
Prices / gains got inflated to create an equal footing, but i fail to see how this even makes sense.
If you are so far ahead with stacked up echoes, but also increase the gains, there is no equal footing.
Should have:
- Wiped Echoes as a currency
- Implemented this right from the start when essences got changed
- Implement another currency all together to make it “fair”
And aside from all the above, i just cant wait to save / grind my way to 12 or 15k echoes for a rank 3 corruption i want, to then loot the exact same corruption on the same item from my weekly m+ cache or after completing a 5 mask run.
Also, why is the catch up mechanic for the cloak (corruption resist after 15) bound to 2 upgrades a week and also split between horrific and Nzoth?
If i want to run 2x full horrific to upgrade my cloak why can’t i?
Or kill mythic and hc nZoth?
And why is the catch up on said resistance locked to 6 resistance per week? (Shouldnt it be a catch up to the most “recent” resist value, given you have the vessels to keep running horrific? Cloak ranks 1-15 come to mind)
And 1 other thing: why the rotation on the corruption vendor? What is the added benefit?
Is the vendor interface too small to house them all?
I dont see, why we need to have things like that on a rotation. It doesnt make any sense at all.
