I’ve been having this issue since the launch of the expansion.
My PC uses about 5GB or RAM on idle, and Task Manager says WoW is using 6GB. So it should only be 11, but TM displays me using basically the full 16GB, even when I disable all addons.
I also get PC freezes, especially when I do stuff on my 2nd monitor, so I have to hold the power button. Then when I restart my PC it just goes into BIOS automatically, and I have to leave it off for a while before it boots into Windows correctly.
I’m not really sure what to do here but I guess WoW is somehow hogging more memory than it should, or more than it’s telling me?
Not seen anyone else talk about this so I’m not sure if this is a me issue or an issue with WoW, but it does not happen to me with other games either.
