Hello! I’m really stuck on trying to decide on if I want a Tauren or Darkspear Shaman, one one hand Tauren are really great Shamans and look amazing in their heritage armour, but the Wolf form and 2 Wolf Summons don’t really make sense for a Tauren. The Wolves suit an Orc Shaman very very well as they have a deep connection with Wolves, that’s why I’m thinking of a Troll Shaman as they have the option for Raptors instead of Wolves and Trolls and Raptors go hand in hand, I’d probably roleplay with this character but I have no ideas for either! Maybe a Witch Doctor Troll? It’s just a really tough decision, both of the races are so cool! Which one has better racials for the class too?
Anything but vulpera or goblin makes sense as a shaman and fits well.
I’d go Darkspear, for the reasons you already mentioned but also because imo you’ll have more mount and mog options. Troll racials are pretty good too!

On the Tauren starting area you are transformed several times into spirit animals, including a wolf, so a spirit wolf for Tauren does make sense. Also, as a little trivia, the name of the wolf wild god, Lo’Gosh, is a Tauren word 
Tauren is one of my favourite races on this game, so I’m biased. Their relationship with nature and the elements and the character of their race makes them perfect for shamans or druids. Not to mention male and female tauren look better than trolls 
Tauren all the way, animation when u throw those meatball(lava bursts) is just amazing, also war stomp is nice in pvp too.
Not to mention how sexi taurens are

I like dark spear totems more so
Whose animations do you like more in combat, then choose 
Look at which option has heeltoes, then pick the other one.

You can buy glyph “raptor” skin for ghost wolf and feral spirit.
It’s best for troll
Troll has way better transmog options, compared to Tauren.
