Hi, I’m trying to find a class to play for my Tauren as I really enjoy them and feel the most connected with them but I can’t decide on a class and it’s really bugging me. On one hand I really want to play a Shaman, I love the lore and how they play, Ele and Enh are really interesting but I don’t know how good the healing is but on the other hand I like how Druids play a lot, being able to adapt to any situations and help others with useful forms like tanking as a bear or stealthing as a cat, but I don’t know much about their lore, I’m not really a fan of the whole Emerald Dream stuff and was wondering if the Tauren Druids are involved in that as the Tauren Paladins follow the Sun rather than the light like most other races. What do you guys think is more useful?
Tauren shaman definitely.
- Heritage armour looks great for them.
- Culture revolves around totems.
- Spirtwalkers
- Orignal cinematic has a tauren shaman.

I’d recommend going druid. No matter the expansions one of the four druid specs always ends up being good or even top in some kind of content (either M+ or PvP primarily.)
From a lore perspetive both are a perfect fit for Tauren. I would really like to recommend shaman as well, but Blizzard has this annoying tendency to not be able to balance shaman specs properly (a tendency that keeps repeating itself.)
Tuff question tbh,both classes are nature themed.
Just make both

As someone who plays tauren on every class (still waiting for Tauren DH) make both, both fits perfectly into lore, both looks good in their armors.

This. Male tauren shaman and female tauren druid (you can add flowers in your hair in Shadowlands). 
Something someone never cared to mention to me back in tbc while leveling my druid,you never see your gear in combat(yes it matters) on a druid unfortunitly i discovered it at 60lvl.
Go with Shaman.
Noone gonna ask how she manage to play wow without knowing druid lore?Emerald dream REALLY? Zandalari trolls has a DAMN TREX as as dungeon boss how the hell you miss that thats druid LORE!

You have made the right choice. We shaman are like druids but much cooler. They grow grass, we make it rain

Oor. The other way around 
Both are good, but I’d personaly recommend shaman. You get totems, far sight, plus quite good animations. And Tauren spiritwalkers are absolute badasses.
Hunter. Always hunter.
Joking aside probably druid. Personally I prefer that class out of the two overall but it’s your choice ultimately.
You could basically stop reading here and this answer would still be all you need to make a decision.
As a Druid you spend a majority of your time in animal form so you won’t be able to see that gorgeous heritage armor. It’s a damn crime I tell you. A crime.
