I’m in party with 4 guildies/friends of mine. We’ve done the first boss in Tazavesh on normal mode (party leader was a dps), got the way to activate the hard mode, went out, reset the dungeon, went back in, on hard mode we killed 7 out of 8 bosses, then left the group because it was late. We re-gathered next day to do the last boss. At first, the instance was fresh (party leader was tank). We left the party, went back in one by one, we saw the 7/8 lockout and reformed the party inside. But there was no broker to activate hard mode. We noticed the lack of hard mode mechanics for the last boss. We killed the boss anyway. Can you tell me what happened, why was the last boss not hard mode (since we already activated hard mode for the other bosses in that instance lock)? Are we supposed to do hard mode Tazavesh in one sitting?
We had the same issue, we ran out of time the first day as many of us had raid commitments so we reconvened the next day. I was pleased that it wasn’t like Mechagon where leaving loses your hard mode but we did have to reclear from the start, we could not reactive our existing lockout, even though were were the same party. We had the same thing you did where individually you are able to see your previous progress but regardless of whether your form a group in or out, you have to start over.
Almost in the exact same situation as Punyelf, had to stop last night at 5/8 bosses on hard mode (except the first one) due to raid, and my group agreed to continue today.
We tried to replace one from the original group, but could not get that person to join the same lockout. When we managed to gather 5/5 from the original group and entered, there was no indication that hard mode was disabled, but the 6th boss did not have hard-mode mechanics and dropped 226 loot, same with the rest of the dungeon.
There was no NPC at the start to re-activate it, at least not where he was originally, so essentially we have to complete the whole dungeon in one sitting next week.
