armory is a source for aids though. its right up there with “ahead of the curve” achievement.

I would like to look up players in Arena - check talents, gear and what setups they are playing etc.
Armory would make that much easier 
just check the pvp guides for BiS lists and talent recommendations. That should cover 90% of characters with a rating above 1k
while that is true, about 90% of the playerbase is going to use armory in a hostile manner.
got an argument with someone and you’re not at 2000+ rating in arena? lul your opinion and argument just got invalidated even if your argument revolves around PVE because your opponent looked up your armory.
wanna discuss an ability? “omfg scrub 1500 nub who do you think you are, you know nothing about how [ability] works, if you did you’d be higher rating, and whats that i see in your gloves slot? a non-bis item?! HAHAHAHAHA”

Armory would make this game even more tryhard, no thanks
We don’t need armory, we need an actual profile of the player who is linked to the character.
So we can see from where they are from, what education they have, how high/low their IQ is and what their genetic code is. Then we can flame and dismiss their opinions in a more validated matter than just by looking at their arena rating.

Well armory existed. It had the same yellowish color like the ingame key configuration menu. Much yellow many information about gear / rating / level. Would like
