TBC beta (2.5.1.38644) missing things :

After comparing TBC Classic Beta (2.5.1.38644) and the original TBC 2.4.3 (8606) (Jul 10 2008) on a private server, I noticed that things were missing on the current TBC beta :

  • It was possible to see the numbers of hp and mana and other resources on the target’s portrait (tbc 2.5.1 shows only hp percentage yet)
  • an interface setting allowed to display the numbers on the experience bar
  • the world map button was next to the minimap
  • an interface setting allowed to display the number of free space in the bags
  • It was possible to see the FPS in the tooltip of the latency bar

Also we can see that the Looking For Group tool is not ready yet.

It’s called a beta. As in an incomplete game.

Also it’s not a clone of TBC.

Well its ~2 weeks till release :)…The release will be buggy there is no doubt

I hope the OP has reported these issues ingame.

Of course yes

Incomplete game that launches in about 2 weeks.

Yes, they should’ve backed-up the 2.4.3 and modified that on the go.

Consider the speed they fix things on retail. The game will be bug free with all features in about 2 years. No worries

I think they are using Omar’s some sort of importing software (for the modern client) and then just manually fixing bugs that appear on the side (or as the consequence of import).

It’s strange that a company still accept bug reports up to and including a release date.

I mean the first night of beta stress test, the flying mounts were “swimming” in the air. The second night they were fixed.

They seem to be still fixing stuff even with a release date.

I always thought you fix everything first, then make a release date, but I see how these corporations work now.

/console ffxGlow 0 does not work.

Blizzard should fix that asap. it hurts my eyes to play with it.
