Just wondering what happens with the warlock and paladin mount guest chains, surely you will not be expected to go back and do classic dungeons at level 70 to complete the chains, will the mount ability be added to the trainer?
The mount quests are still required in TBC for warlock and paladin mounts
The quest requirement for these mounts werent removed until WotLK i think.
This is correct.
Patch 2.4.0 it was added to the trainers, the warlock quest was removed in Cata*
You have no source to your claim.
[Patch 3.0.3] (04-Nov-2008): The epic ground mount is now available on the trainer at level 61, requiring 150 riding skill, and the non-epic mount learned.
WowPedia says different
Earning the dreadsteed
The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.1
Originally, the dreasteed mount required the completion of an epic quest chain. In patch 2.4.0 the mount was added to class trainers; the quest chain remained available for those who still wanted to complete it until patch 4.0.1 , when it was removed entirely.
I don’t think WoW was on gamepedia back then(?) so I’d take them with a grain of salt.
If not, I’m sure you can show me the 2.4 patch notes stating Dreadsteed is now on trainers.
This is written by a pedia user, as in not a official source, so unless you find some patch notes to back that up, im gonna go with the gamepedia site just being a mistake by the writer.
