They could, or buffing Alliance racials to what drove people to heavily specifically for PvP. It’s only gonna get worse for each expansion, until around Cata/MoP if they go that far.
Yeah, and if people wanted to play the game like it’s retail they should be playing retail not Classic. shrug
Then Horde players will qq aboot that, so Blizzard would have likely backed down on this matter. Knowing there has been an estimated 8% shift towards the Horde between classic and TBC (H-A ratios went from 53% in classic to 61% in TBC) that would have likely made those players pretty unhappy.
I know what many people think among the wow community, and I do think that classic should stop at wrath is childish and selfish, because there is a demand for Mop (Not sure for cata) so why would some players get their favorite version of the game whereas other would have to rely on private servers?
So yes, we’re going up to Mop at leat and I’d bet the H-A ratio would be something like 75% Horde, like on many private servers that haven’t done things to incentivizes players going blue.
In my mind, classic is all aboot Levelling, not end game doing lfr raids spamming one spell. But to each to its own, I guess…
Sucks for them but at least it’s on equal footing - would rather have equal footing over one OP faction that everyone keeps flocking to or quitting because they don’t wanna re-roll.
A large part of it is indeed leveling, which is why I think the boosts, and player boosts via mages/paladins were so bad for TBC. I’m not playing TBC atm because trying to level alts there’s like no one else out there between layering and being far less people caring to level when they could boost/have boosted an alt.
