Cleared SSC and TK today, and I had a terrible realization. While killing Vashj, I had this deja vu-like feeling and it took me a moment to understand what it was.
Yes, it felt exactly like Raid Finder. Nothing is doing real damage to you, enemies die super fast, it just feels like nothing is really trying to kill you. Also Kael advisors are a joke now and the last phase could probably be done with 10 people.
Of course I was on discord while clearing this, and many outright said that the nerfs are pure bullshti, and some were just laughing a little, but it was a melancholic laugh, not a happy one.
This weird feeling still lingers in my head, and I hate to say it but its the feeling of wanting to quit. Full T5, leviathan fang, sea-witch vestements, all feel just inane.
And I know devs don’t read these forums, but let me tell you about original TBC player back in 2007: me. I never stepped a foot in SSC or TK, just PvP’d mostly and I was happy with my “welfare epix”.
But back then when I saw a player in full T5 or T6 I thought “holy sht those are some good items, I wish I had the time and dedication needed to get them”. It didn’t make me want to quit, it made me want to play more. So if you think that by making content super easy and accessible you’re going to increase your sub numbers you’re wrong. When everybody has the best items nothing feels cool.
Cool story bruv, TK/SSC were already easy enough and if you struggled you are just bad.Raids are faster, not easier, they were easy in the first place. Now instead of whining about it,maybe try getting better into pvp which actually has skilled involved and as i can see u are at 1.4k rating where all the bad players belong. Thanks for the whining input though
Thank you for the post. I’m actually at 1507 atm, 78 wins 62 losses this season. UA/Spriest is a pretty powerful combo, but the amount of undead mage/rogue teams is a bit frustrating sometimes. I dont play retail anymore, so I dont know if lvl 45 rogues can play arena, but I am sure you are very skilled.
And I never said that SSC/TK were difficult pre-nerf, but making them into a snoozefest just ruins the experience.
Honestly I agree with this.
It’s just far too easy now to the point where T5+Gruul in 1 evening is now what we do.
It’s too faceroll now, at least before you had to think, at least a tiny bit.
Now the bosses just die effortlessly.
If it ruins the experience, stop playing. Some people like the changes some dont.Again if you think that Blizzard is doing a bad job at this game, stop supporting by stop playing instead of crying about .
The feedback he provided, was done long ago by other players thats why they postponed the nerfs.Blizzard listen to the feedback and they released the nerf 1 month after. And if you consider vashj a challenge and didnt think the fight was a snoozefest even before the nerf, you are bad at this game and thats fine man,im not hating
Is this where you stop thinking? Why are raids “faster” and how does it correlate with difficulty/numbers/lowered number of mechanics? Don’t stop, continue that thread.
According to you its all the same since everything was easy anyway - right? With that mindset it wouldnt matter if MH and BT are vendors with epics in Boss-skins, standing just at the entrance - since “MH/BT will be easy anyway”.
Maybe you should stop being a massive douchebag? Just because something was already easy by definition doesn’t mean the difficulty cannot change. When stuff has less hp then that literally means it’s even easier now.
if actually played the game instead of having bad
parses and having 1937 posts maybe u would realize the game is easy, and u dont even need to parse to easy clear the raids.
