Hello im a guildmaster on firemaw and im wondering do you devs actually play the game?
Like this isnt an attack or anything i really wanna ask if you guys play the game.
Cause i see you are to realease BT and hyjal on a thursday and mostlikely around 10-12pm server time so u can have it live on all regions at the same time?
First of all majority of guilds on Eu Raid on wednesday/thursday including my own
2nd i doubt that the majority of the wow community really care wich guild is gonna clear content first (race to world first) when it comes to content that been cleared for over 15
years. So please reconsider releasing on each region based on their own unique Weekly resets. Thank you

- devs are not reading EU forums
- they did it because asian raids resets thursday
- US forums complains much, much louder ('cause their raids resets Tuesday)

I care that we get to play the game on release and not have to wait for a week
why?
you’ll have at least 4 months to do that content every single week, it will make you sick one of a day.
so why then is it so important for you to play this first week?
They tend to release it at 00:00 ST on Thursday.
At least that’s what they did with the previous raids.
Not sure why they can’t just release them on Wednesdays though…

Raids open on Thursday night, probably at around 10-11pm, long past most people’s raid times.
So a lot of us lose a day of t6 raiding for that week because implementing a new raid during the server restart on Wednesday morning is way too difficult.

Exact time should be posted officially soon, but it’ll be globally simultaneous, so it’s actually early morning on the 28th in Asia and Australia, late at night on the 27th or 28th in EU, and the afternoon of the 27th in the US. Hope that helps!

Raid time most guilds in EU is wednesday, thursday, sunday; ±18:00 -23:00h
Open BT/Hyjal - friday ± 00:01 AM

Blizz pls move EU reset or release TBC raids.
but why EU and not NA/asia?
I would just like to shorten the time between raid releases and server reset. 40 hours is a lot. (2days for EU Players)
Correct me if i am wrong, but why is this such a big deal?
It’s just 1 day, why not just reschedule the guilds raiding day to the weekend for this spesific week.
Even if you don’t get to raid BOTH bt/mh that week, they will still be relevant for 4-6 months (depending on how long p4 will last i guess). Plenty of time to get you and your alt geared up.
I understand that the lack of attention/communication from blizzard is extremely annoying (and borderline unprofessional) , but i am not sure that this subject is what blizz should spend time on.
PS: i have no idea how hard it is to have different release dates for each region, or why is a bad thing that some regions get the patch/phase first (by 1 day).
you realise majority of people that are playing are working right? u cant bet that every single raider is gonna be able to re schedule.

People do care, There are hundreds of people making a living off of streaming this game and creating content off of it just because they are in said top guilds. Hell there were competitions on Chinese realms for 10s of thousands of dollars involving some of their top guilds.
You being on firemaw should know that first hand.
if this is your mentality i don’t see how missing 1 raid reset is gonna hurt you, besides with this phase you basically have to have 2 raid days.
Because why should they change the raid day exactly?
We join guilds based off their raid days.
But, ideally Blizzard should be releasing the raids on reset day.
We are looking at a friday release atm. Means Wednessday+Thursday is gone. Two of the days most guilds raid on.
Which is kinda yikes.
Region resets exist for a reason… if they want to do those same time relases… just remove the region based reset… make it global - every region gets a reset at the same time/day …
Its stupid to screw up some regions more than others because of some “race to wf” type of scenario…
I enjoy raiding with my guild but it feels really stupid when our raid days can be used to raid the new phase just because they want to sync it to a region that is not the one I play with … and we get to watch how everyone with raid days different than ours or get to have fun
Yes i do, myself included. I still don’t see a major issue in moving that one day to the weekend. Or if that wont work, then you simply get 1 day less to raid on. ONE.
And i cant really see the big issue in this. Like i mentioned earlier, bt/mh will be relevant for several months, i highly doubt that missing one single reset on one raid is gonna matter at all.
And ofc, not everyone is gonna be able to reschedule. Nor do i expect them to.
But out of curiousity, how big impact will this 1 day/reset be for you? How will this affect your playing (genuine question).
They dont have to change the raid day if they dont want to, they can do something else for all i care tbh. But if you want to have 2 raid days in bt/mh that spesific week, you sort of have to.
Yes, and that is completely fine. But expecting blizzard to cater to YOUR raiding schedule, and ignore the ones who dont raid on the same days as you is, well selfish:)

I would agree to this but as it stands there is clearly a bias on blizzards side… They (if you look at the tweet) dont want to do it earlier as its a problem with the asian maintenance window… so its also not fair for 1 region to get it without any problems around it and 2 more to be screwed…
And as you said your self on the other quote … they have the maintanence windows… they are there for a reason… if people want to care for WF races they can just look at time since maintenance and base the kill on that, if this is what its all about
