Hi,
i achieved rank 1 way back in tbc season 2. i got the armored merciless nether drake, with the FoS associated with it, but lost the title for some reason.
a rank 1 title is something that is supposed to be kept permanently
so would like to know why its been removed

It sounds like there may be some confusion. The Merciless Nether Drake was provided to all players which reached Gladiator During Season 2. Merciless Gladiator as a title is separate from this and is only earned by those who reached rank 1 in their respective Battle Groups in addition to the mount.
You cannot lose this title if you were rank 1 much like you cannot lose the mount.
