TBC to Wotlk PvP currencies transition

Hey,
I’d like to know how will look like the transition of PvP currencies from TBC to Wotlk.
I heard we can keep 75k honor and 100x of each PvP mark.
How about Arena Points? What will happen to them? Will they reset or will we keep them?

They’ll be converted to honor.

In what ratio?

Most people I’ve seen saying 10x but I don’t know if blizzard has given an actual number yet

Excess honor will convert to gold

BG Marks move into your currency tab and you can exchange 1 BG Mark for 1 Commendation of Service that you can convert to 185 honor.
So if you have 400 BG Marks that’s 74k honor.
In previous seasons Arena points converted to 10x honor.

This is fake news, excess honor points will not convert to gold, nor excess arena points.

All your BG mark will stay in currency tab. You can trade them to honor once prepatch hit. Once prepatch hit, you can not get mark in BG anymore (only trade the old marks). You can’t have more than 100 mark of a specific battleground, unless you stock them in mail - but they are removed after 24 hours so it’s not very usefull.

Your arena points is converted to honor with the 10x rate, and excessive amount is lost : 5K arena points => 50k honors. It’s recommended to buy gems if you have an excessive amount of arena points / honors.

Cap : 5K arena points, 75K honors, 100 mark of each BG.

Assuming you have stockpilled everything, you would end up with around 150k honors at level 80 when you turn your mark. It’s enough to get a little advantage, but not that much.

Once you are level 80, BG award from 500 to 3k honor. On prepatch level 70, it’s between 250 and 1k5. On TBC, it’s between 0 and 1k.
