I was chilling in World PvP when all of a sudden a group of 6+ Horde players arrived and tried to gank me. Then this happened:
Also got Horde Slayer in the process - Unstable Azerite Flare is quite a fun item.
(also I was wildly clicking around in my UI because I tried to make a raid group so that the quest wouldn’t complete - you lose the buff if you complete the quest)
I’d be really interested in dueling some of you people from the wpvp/arena forums one of these days. Particularly Drae, if he/she doesn’t mind. We could even make a sparring session if enough people are interested.
Yep…this does help alot…I have seen a human rogue taking down 4 hordies with this…without its impossible…specially that they had a healer and still failed
This is the reason why I think this is the right way to balance faction inequality in a shard, just like tenacity used to work back in WotLK for Wintergrasp… instead of just an increased war mode reward bonus from WQs and whatnot.
Give the outnumbered faction a fat HP, DMG and healing boost and let good players punish those that think they are sooooo skilled crashing 10v1 on people.
Stormsong Valley in particular is just broken, as just to the left of the ship in deadwash where you find the orb, there are a lot of rum flasks that give you 50% haste for 3 minutes. Downside is, you take 50% more damage, but eh.
Destro is beyond disgusting with that. .5s CBs that do 300-400k dmg without infernal, juicy. Only way to really shut me down is just stack as many instant CCs as you can until I flop over, I only have HS, Alche HP pot and Death Coil as sustain, once those are out you can nuke me down.
Before that, tho… drop infernal, aoe stun, antisilence + draenic living action potion for stun immunity and oneshot everyone where the cataclysm lands a crit.
I really have to record it one time as well, destro is just so much more insane in WPvP with things like that.

That would be great, but it wouldn’t prevent the outnumbered faction from shard jumping and forming a large ganking group on a shard where they are already a majority, while still preserving the bonuses (like it happens currently).
Aat the moment - Alliance is the outnumbered faction in WarMode (as it is measured per region, not per realm/shard). They get the bonuses. Yet on some shards (like on my RPG shard) WarMode is unplayable as Horde, because Alliance outnumber you significantly, making anything especially questing / rare farming impossible (I bet majority of the influx Alliance players, are people who just jumped shards - just like we are often forced to do), and thus forcing us to jump shards, often landing on those where the situation is quite opposite…
I’m not sure if special bonuses (especially HP and DMG boost) are the right solution really. Sadly I also don’t seem to have any good idea on how to fix this mess (because that’s what it is).
