I remember during Cata when Rated BGs came out. Our tank use to do this when he was the FC.
He use to make himself lag or w/e it was as soon as he picked up the flag, and the enemy team could not hit him even tho he was âlagging in placeâ after 30sec or so he would just blink to the middle of the map or further and carry on.
This was during the time when Blizzard actually gave a damn, so he was suspended a few days after doing this.
Now ? Suspensions ? Lol. Only if its reported on mass so the auto-ban gets triggered. Outside of that they dont actually read any reports or complaints. Especially in Classic. Its all about max capital for minimal investment, and people looking over stuff costs money.
Youâre witnessing the birth of dwarf pickpocket bots.
They migrate every winter, flying to the warmer souths together in big flocks.
Nature is beautiful.
But for real tho, itâs botters flyhacking, going who knows where to get some XP in order to do hack/bot runs of instances for pickpocketting, herbing underground etc etc.
Try it on many of the big servers.
Do /who blackrock rogue
/who vault rogue
etc.
Youâll often see a few unguilded rogues. Lvl 58-60 in Blackrock Depths, lvl 66-70 in Steam Vaults.
All day, every day.
24/hrs per day.
And even then some âsmartâ people here on the forums will defend it and saying you canât be certain theyâre botsâŚ
I have seen such bots, highlevel ones that is, in dungeons - or fishing all day all night . But never in this number - might it be more common on PvP servers? I have never seen them âhatchingâ like this, so my fantasy did not suffice to imagine why. Thanks for the show.
If I could put up videos I have a funny one of a lady player at Love is in the air constantly receiving those boxes you could have once an hour, and having another player constantly un-heartbreaking her. For sure not bots, but some kind of hacking was going on.
It is, simply because those servers are usually much much bigger in terms of âactualâ player numbers too.
That means more people to sell gold to, thus more bots on those servers.
And this isnât something that happens 24/7. The hatching I mean.
Itâs just shortly after a ban-wave when you see all the botters start up new botting accounts.
