Tell me your best ‘guild drama’ story

Your posts always entertain me
Don’t change blueberry

I’ve just shared a piece of personal drama about losing friends over things that you can’t control, and you sincerely believed it was for your entertainment? How lower a human being can fall? I like it, we should grab a beer sometimes.

You assume I was ever aloft to fall to begin with

See you in the pub :beers:

I’ll be on the counter, wearing a pair of tight jean shorts and a cowboy hat, dancing to “One way or another”.

Think it won’t just be me turning up to the pub from these forums
I’ll get the first round regardless :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Well , 2008, TBC , I was raiding as rogue. Black Temple patch came and we have learned that there was a legendary drop, warglaives only for rogues/warriors. I was very excited, I have farmed Black Temple every week. Warglaive offhand dropped after weeks of farming. Ofcourse dps warriors and rogues , me included were very excited about who would get it. Our GM was tank and he said he was sorry and he had to take the offhand warglaive. We were shocked. 1 week later guild was disbanded. Also I couldn’t get any warglaives in TBC.

Sorry but this one is hilarious. It must have sucked for you at the time but imagine the gm thinking he can call prio on a personal mount drop and to kick you if you refuse. If I was a fellow raider in that guild and saw it happening I’d quit on the spot.

Good news, the guild members indeed started leaving the guild, and guild got disbanded without even reaching Argus. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Sweet sweet karma.

More stories!!!

That’s some hella commitment right there
Link? xD (I am joking)

In TBC I was officer in a guild when I sold my soul.
One of my friends asked me if I wanted to join their guild which was composed by some of the members of my very first guild I left because it disbanded months prior.
So I said yes and I left the guild. Without me there was a shamble, people were leaving left and right some to follow me and some because without the main healer (me) they couldn’t do raids properly.
And that guild died a week after my departure :confused:

My Guild Drama might be beyond belief, had I not experienced it myself I doubt I’d have believed it.
Back in TBC I was in a small friends & family guild made up mostly of IRL friends. The Guild Master was my bosses boss. He ran a weekly D&D game which I played in.

Two members of this little guild (that couldn’t even run Heroic dungeons together as I had the only geared and speced Healer and Tank) who weren’t part of the IRL friends left to join a raiding guild and I moved my Prot Pally with them so I could try tanking raids (I did a few Kara runs with that guild as tank). I left this Shammy (a reasonable Healer at the time although without no real tank we were limitied to regular dungeons for our weekly guild outings).
My IRL friend / Bosses Boss / Guild Master sent me an in game letter demanding I commit fully to the guild and return my Prot Pally to it or be removed entirely. I refused and Gram was removed from The Granite Guardian forever. Although I still remained in the pen & paper games he ran.

The raiding guild I joined fell apart shortly after I joined but I found another small friends & family guild in Wrath and did some dungeons and raids (well a bit of Naxx). This guild fell apart at the end of MOP and I have a solo guild to myself and my alts.
Granite Guardians is no longer operational as none of the members play anymore, most gave up late Wrath or during Cata. One IRL friend from then still plays but has his own solo guild.

Wrath of the Lich king during the ICC patch:

We progress normal and heroic and we help our best retridin get stronger by helping him obtain shadowmourne.

Soon after he has the shadowmourne, he quits the guild and goes for a “more hardcore” guild…

Considering how much of a team effort it is to get shadowmourne, this dude was shameless.

Did he at least share the treasures with you? Tabard, mount, etc.

I do not remember about that part. Maybe he did with officers.

I got all these on my own years later

You met a bunch of “really nice people” but then left them without even saying “bye” because of one j*rk? Nice…

I meant, you cut out nice people you enjoyed playing with and left without saying a word.
