mop because of class design. Had more fun doing random bgs or hc dungeons then ive had overall in SL so far
Bring back good design

Raiding in molten core when it was first released. It was so intense and claustrophobic down there i could actually feel the intense heat from the place through my monitor. Six or more hours a night of totally focused raiding. It was awesome.

I joined in Mists of Pandaria in retail, but mu favorite memory was from back in 2008 on a private server I used to play in with my family, especially my sister.

I remember we both made blood elves and wanted to explore Silvermoon. To our eyes Silvermoon was HUGE and vast and we explored every part of it. Then we reached the Spire and found the Trandponder.
We had no idea what it did but we said oh well, lets see. One loading screen later we are in the Ruins of Lordaron and I tell my sis… “Aww damn, this is bad, we are in Lorderon, we’re in alliance territory.” So we decided to walk back to Silvermoon. We were almost near the bulwark and an undead warrior level 40-ish told us, “Don’t go that way, the mobs are too high level and you’re level 9.” Naturally we got the hell out of the Western Plagulans as soon as we saw that the first plagued bear we clicked on… was level (skull). So we went and did quests in Tirisfal instead of going back to Silvermoon as planned and I believe at some point we used our hearthstones and finally figured out HOW to get back to the blood elf starting zone.

That was way back, when me and my sis were 18.

all i rember farm farm farm more farm rep rep more rep farm

I also remember I was doing dungeons with some guildie and both my older sister and my twin with me, in the same private server I mentioned above. And we were running Strathmore for gear, towards the end of the crusader wing I accidentally pulled a mob just outside the last boss’s chamber and died. Leaving my sisters and my guildie to actually finish the dungeon. I remeber I was looking at the dreadlord and saying “Oh my god, he’s huge.” Then realising it was a Warcraft 3 character and adding “Oh my god! It’s Balnazzar!”

Saw both actually, John’s video first ofc, then came across Asmon’s reaction of it.

I had a friend list once, back when the game was not just a GOGOGOGOGO game :(.

my Sub ends in 3 days , first time in a long time I will not resub for a while…

borrowed power and grinding 10 different things is not my fun. Having a covenant without the soul bind trees, conduit sh* and being able to choose what I want to play, not being forced into it… that is my dream, but Blizz had their chance now for 3 Expansions, each time it gets more complex, I want to learn the game by playing, relaxing not reading 10 Sites on how to play a spec… Ah well…

First character (a human paladin) walking into Stormwind for the first time. The music (especially), the buildings, the busyness and getting lost so many times.
I’m not quite sure how I got lost so many times because it’s really not difficult compared with many cities. Maybe I hadn’t found the map at that stage.

my best memory was where tradechat wasnt filled with boost spam and ingame shop not existing

those quests off Gromgol. Do you remember how short the breath bar was in those days.

I cant cuz i was a kid back then

I got it done as a project during the first lockdown (UK) took about 2 hours and no fun, but then neither was lockdown lol

After healing pretty much through all Vanilla I created a paladin tank in TBC. Best memory is when I main tanked full Karazhan and then M.Hyjal and BT. Those were the times were I was still viable  where guilds had so many players to actually need more runs and more tanks.
Now I haven’t touched the raid still because nobody rotate tanks in general

Any time before Ion was the game director

Leveling my first character, a blood elf rogue, and falling in love with the starting zone. The landscape, the music, the belf architecture, the lore, everything was so magical. Eversong woods and ghostlands is still my favorite zones.

Another good memory of mine is from WoD. My guild almost completely fell apart. Only 4 of us remained after we finished progressing highmaul. After this, instead of giving up, we decided to rebuild the guild for the next raid tier, and started recruiting new people. It was incredibly hard, but we pulled it off, so we were able to start BRF progression with 10 players. It was the best roster I’ve ever had. Lifelong friendships were formed, and I still keep in touch with almost everyone who was part of that guild in that time period.

Oh just thought aboot this one : Leaving my faction. Good memory to finally play where there are so many players doing what I’m interested in the game.

MoP Class Design and MoP Griefable World Boss (Oondasta), WOTLK HardMode in Raids that change mechanic of a fight (PvE), and Classic Griefable World Boss  . Probably my best moment in-game. I miss MoP  .
