Hey!

I feel like i wanna read something because i’m bored, so i’d like to ask you to tell me your nicest story from WoW :smiley: I’m curious about any kind of stories, friends, learning of the game, funny and interesting stories, first big accomplishment etc.

Do not save the ‘ink’, i want to read a LOT! :slight_smile:

i was running Deadmines as tank on my first char, a staff/ring (not sure, but it was for caster 100%) drops, i need on it and i won it
clothies go berserk…“why do you need” etc
i respond in all seriousness something like: what do you mean why? because i need it? i need gold?

then i heard for the first time the in-game “ninja” title
they kept repeating it as if it was some kind of an insult…i thought it was super funny :laughing:

You were being an A$$ by needing on an item you didn’t actually “need”, except for gold purposes. Even you said it was 100% of a casters item, and you were a tank, and so you didn’t NEED it. That screams being an A$$ to me. So glad your best moment in the game, or your funny/interesting thing in the game was you basically taking something from others who actually NEEDED it :smiley:

and how was i supposed to know that it was bad? this was totally fine in lc2 (which was the game i came from at the time)
i was just a noob, you are the a55 right now, you keep insisting about this being my “best moment” when op asked for ANY story

Back in 2004 on my first char (a level 19 rogue at the time) in IF on December 23rd. I was new to the game and totally green with regard to everything in it.
All of a sudden a trade window opens and several gift wrapped items appeared in it, along with a tell 'Have a happy Christmas and enjoy the next few levels.
What was gift wrapped ? A complete set of Defias armour (apart from the chestpiece).
Since then I’ve taken to selecting a random lowbie and on Christmas Eve giving them a gift wrapped item that would be useful for them.

My best wow story is that I met my partner in cata. I was tanking in my guild and we recruited him as a healer. Nearly 8 years and 2 kids later we’re still happy and still enjoying wow.

I like to give away high ilvl boe to low geared people I find ramdonly.
I Gave away 2 antorus hc boe items in legion to freshly dinged new guys. Some of them went completly nuts because if was well over 100+ ilvl better than what they had. Made them equip it right away ofc, it was nice.

My funniest story (I have told this before so you can all laugh at me I’m immune from the ridicule now lol)

When I cam back to the game in 2015 and bought WoD I got the free level 90 boost which I used on my trusty rogue. At that point I was something of a stupid player and had never paid any attention to things like ilvl so when I boosted and was given this beautiful free armour I was over the moon. It was all red and black and looked perfect on a rogue (in my head)

Every time I got some new piece of armour as I levelled it looked rubbish in comparison so I sold it for the gold and stuck to my lovely free stuff. I levelled 90 to 100 in my boosted armour then tried to do ashran.

I think I lasted less than 30 seconds, told my husband that ashran sucked and he inspected me and realised what I’d done. He then explained ilvl and transmog to me. I have no idea how I managed to level through the expansion in that armour lol.

Also that’s nothing to my daughter who somehow managed to level from northshire to eastern plaguelands without picking up a single flight point and then hearthstoned back to stormwind and had to walk back to eastern plaguelands. Or when she somehow fell down a chimney and had to be rescued by blizzard.

When i join warlords of dreanor late(i missed the content draught so i dont have the same hate for it others players have, Still hate what it did to orc lore tho)

I enjoy building my garrision up.
Sure i would prefeer a night elf base but still i enjoy the feeling of building up my garrison, traveling around with bodygaurds saving people and building bases.
I enjoyed legion well enough(some minnor gripes about class halls not being costumizable and the entire vicking themed race but nothing really anoying)
I really love the aritifact weapons.
It felt like it was mine.
I am also pleased to hear classic is comming out next year.
I miss the feeling that my charater was mine.
Instead of just an other druid.
I am looking forward to artic valley lasting for days(if it doesnt it isnt autantic blizzard!!!)

But my nicest moment in wow came during bfa.
When i finaly after years of rerolling settled on a night elf druid as my main.

I do hope blizzard will stop screwing up and accauly get wow back into shape.

I have this one friend and he’s always there ingame. There’s no personal stuff but just we do all sorts of stuff together ingame. No matter what guild I’m in, no matter how often I say no, no matter what, he’s there. Not waiting for me like a sadsack, but there. He also taught me a lot.

Also not too long ago I had a cute relationship with a fellow wow player but sadly it didn’t work out after all. But it was nice while it lasted and look back on it with a smile nonetheless.
