Tempest Keep is stupid now

Most of BT bosses aren’t really that hard, especially compared to pre-nerf T5. The main thing separating BT bosses (and Hyjal bosses) from pre-nerf T5, and in particular Vashj and Kael, is the hp tuning. T6 bosses are incredibly forgiving compared to pre-nerf T5 ones. To put things in perspective…

On pre-nerf Kael you needed to do almost 3 million dmg in 2 minutes in order to get a clean phase transition, or about 1.6-2 to get a barely doable one. The hardest DPS check in T6 content is arguably Kaz’rogal, which must be killed roughly before 4 minutes or the raid quickly dies. He has 4.5 million HP and you have lots of friendly NPCs to help you. Do the math.

It gets even more ridiculous when you realize that Illidan has actually less hp than pre-nerf Kael and Vashj (especially when you factor in all the adds), and Archimonde has even less than that. Ofc there’s more to a fight than just hp, but the sheer fact that DPS is absolutely not a factor and it’s mostly about executing mechanics correctly takes a lot of heat off actually learning those mechanics in the first place, and leaves a lot more leeway for mistakes.

We won’t have a fight as tightly tuned as Vashj or Kael until M’uru in SWP. Brutallus comes somewhat close, but he’s JUST a DPS check so it’s a lot easier to straight-up fulfill its DPS requirements because there’s a lot less to worry about besides DPSing (compared to Vashj and Kael).

You ppl thinking T6 raids are even comparable to pre-nerf T5 are just delusional. Then again, most of this whiny posts and threads are filled with delusion, hyperboles, drama etc. Maybe you should put less salts in your posts and more salt in your brains (where memories are saved).
