Why split it up like this? This feels so weird to press.

Probably to break AoE cap.
Need some testing to ensure it, but probably this “wave” has no AoE cap, while DS stills have it.

Yes, it does bypass the aoe cap 
Also it’s kinda bad when you’re trying to not pull extra mobs.

Is it actually worth using? Because most dungeon encounters will be around 5 targets anyway. Sure that’s 20% free Divine Storm damage, but that depends of the competition too.
Well it’s the only Retribution paladin memory that i have.

Makes it useless 90% of the time you want to use it, 20 yards it’s a hell of a lot of space.
I won’t risk it in m+, the dmg is great only if you have a tons of targets. It’s more for solo content, but even in thorgast where it may see the biggest use, most of the time is a liabilty rather than a plus.
That’s why i surgested that it sorounds the enemies around you for a few secends like around 10 secends.
Yeah but then is too much dmg.
I’d rather having it triggering something light decree style, it will also be more beneficial than having a 10sec whirl around you that gets overwritten when you spam 2-3ds in a row with dp procs and stuff.
Thank the Light that I didn’t yet create it. I already have Relentless Inquisitor created and it boosts my DPS sims by at least few % so I must say it’s pretty solid if we don’t yet have Mad Paragon. I have Lightbringer in my pocket and I was going to craft it like tomorrow. I will wait for Mad Paragon then I guess.
Which I will probably see in a few months or so - or maybe even never, because it’s a Great Vault drop and being heavily time gated and drowning among other items I might not see this legendary in this expansion.
