Not sure I did anything. Still happy to participate…
How does Signing work again, I’ve done it before for people but I can’t remember.
Do they invite you? Is there something to click?

Happy to help!
You get an item from a guildmaster NPC, a “guild charter”. When you use it a list pops up with the currently signed members and a button to request a signature. When you have 4 or 5 (think it’s 4) signed people you turn in the charter to the guildmaster and BAM, guild is formed.
Technically we are founding members but you can just remove them but I will be deleting my char when I’m back in Retail. Once I’m sure the guild is up and running.
It is up and running, and it currently has just one member - me!
It is a banking guild, I play for farming mainly. I hate raiding but enjoy farming rep, achievements and gold. Have my own guild makes that more fun
I’m currently in my own bank guild. I will have to find a guild for TWW but I’m probably going to wait until prepatch. For now I’m mostly playing Remix and Testing.
I also have BG3 and Enshrouded waiting for me.
If at any point you need/want to add your alts you can list the guild as recruiting with some very spesific options that will make it easy for you to find. Then log the alt to request an invite, relog main to accept the application, relog alt to accept the invite. Then you can unlist the guild recruitment again.
Worth waiting for cross-realm guilds
Yeah I figured we’d have more choice if we waited. Not that Draenor is small.
My biggest problem is that I want a guild that clears heroic and then dabbles with a bit of mythic but isn’t a CE guild.
I think this happens automatically, as I did this a while ago with a dwarf character. That person came to Dun Murough and I signed and logged out.
I’ve never been back to that character and don’t think I deleted it. But it doesn’t show up in the list of servers as one with a character on it.
So I assume they have some tidy up function that cleans out level 1 characters that have been idle for a few months or something.
Is there a reason why they make this such a hassle?
Your guess is as good as mine. Seems they dislike the idea of 1 man guilds, which would be a lot more common if you didn’t need this roundabout process to invite yourself.
I did the same, my guild is exactly the same. Glad I could help!
It used to be ten signatures, the four is a lot more manageable.
Mine don’t vanish unless I delete.
Those characters might still be there if I could remember what server they were on.
But I only have about 20 characters.
I don’t care if there are some unused ones out there. I’ll never reach char limit.
And I don’t care if they’re using Blizzard’s server space. It’s their fault that we have to do this for their stupid guild charter signing. A relic of a by-gone age which should have been expunged years ago. Even if the number of signatures needed has come down from the original 10.
If you go to the server selection screen it tells you how many characters you have on it in brackets behind the server’s name.
If you click on character sorting it should show all the realms you have characters on.
That doesn’t include other language realms ofc, you’d have to go on each tab.
I’m slowly migrating (rerolling) all my characters to Draenor.
I’m jealous that you can find names on one realm.
Yeah, I’m aware of this. I have my Alliance chars on Ghostlands and my Horde character on Arathor.
These are the only servers showing (apart now from Shatter Hand).
So either I deleted those other characters, the were automatically deleted after some time idle or those servers don’t show them anymore.
meh, a mystery I care not to solve further.
You probably wouldn’t want half the names I use
