Before update steady 60-100 fps, after update 20 fps.
How can this be solved?
I’m having the same issue. Installed new Nvidia driver today and it wrecked the fps. Game hardly playable anymore.
Try downgrading driver back to working one. Probably issue with the new drivers so need to wait for nvidia to release fixed driver.
Same issue. Been trying to revert to an older version of Nvidia. Any tips in doing that? I tried following guides online but all they tell is to go to Device Management, Display adapters, Nvidia inside, driver, “roll back driver”.
Problem is, that option is grayed out unlike in their fancy examples.
EDIT: Well, I found my solution, but blizzard’s new system doesn’t allow direct links.

Best way to roll back display driver is to use “Display Driver Uninstaller”. Official web page is wagnardsoft. com , just download latest version. Here is a guide for DDU:

As someone said, this has nothing to do with WoW. It’s Nvidia that messed up and it affects everyone with a mobile 1050 Geforce. Hopefully it will be fixed. I rolled back graphics drivers in Windows 10 device manager. One click, 3 minutes waiting, then done and now everything works like a charm again.
I’m having the same problem! How do you roll back the driver?
Best way it a clean remove as some parts stay behind…see this:
Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) / Cleaner made for Display Drivers.(NVIDIA/AMD/INTEL)
Display Driver Uninstaller is a driver removal utility that can help you completely uninstall AMD/NVIDIA/INTEL graphics card drivers and packages from your system, trying to remove all leftovers (including registry keys, folders and files, driver store).
The AMD/NVIDIA/INTEL video drivers can normally be uninstalled from the Windows Control panel, this driver uninstaller program was designed to be used in cases where the standard driver uninstall fails, or when you need to thoroughly delete NVIDIA and ATI video card drivers.
The current effect after you use this driver removal tool will be similar as if its the first time you install a new driver just like a fresh, clean install of Windows. As with any tool of this kind, we recommend creating a new system restore point before using it, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems.
If you have problem installing older driver or newer one, give it a try as there are some reports that it fix those problems.
RECOMMENDED USAGE :
Recommended usage:
-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
-Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
-It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.
-You do NOT need to uninstall the driver prior using DDU.
Or just google Nvidia Forum and then go onto Geforce Drivers, 2nd post down (Wagnard tools post)
Jay
p.s Best to always read peoples post on Nvidia forum regarding latest driver before updating to it and see if they are having problems.
That’s great - Thanks!!!
Omg, you saved my “life”. I was about to quit raiding since I really don´t want to get a new PC just for that and I couldn´t even play with 70’% resolution!
I rolled back to a November driver version and I can go Uldir now!!
Thanks a bunch!!
Happy to hear the shared information helps out Kerrigán, but please do not bump such old threads.
Locking this now to prevent further bumps.
Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!
