İ have been a member of this community since 2009, and was willing to be for more until yesterday.
Yesterday, while i was trying to obtain Sundancer Mount in Shadowlands and fell down and my character entered a loop of falling and dissconnected from server every time i tried and connected support via ticket for resolving the issue but after 4 hours of wait, they responded via A TEMPLATE response which includes graphical changes etc which is irrelevant to my issue and i respond it but its been 16 hours and still i am unanswered.
In previous years, support and customer Success teams were accurate and fast responding but i don’t know if it is cost-cut/budget friendly, this vision of Blizzard may benefit in short-term but in long-run, they will be churning their loyal customers.
As a CFO of a Delaware based start-up, i strongly recommend Blizzard to Change their support/Success Vision for their long-run achievements.
P.S: unfortunately i purchased 1 year subs recently, i wish i had this issue before i purchased it.

Agreed. Please bring back “in game GMs” so that these kind of issues can be solved immediately.

In case you aren’t aware moving your character somewhere safe has been a self service thing for a number of years now. It’s only if that fails that you need a GM to assist you.

I doubt there are any GM left, at least in EU. Those are agents (like in a call center) who just copy - paste suggestions: check Wowhead, update your GPU etc. and they close your tickets without a chance to even answer.
Here’s my example - right now i’m waiting for help from over 10 days. Had opened 6 tickets so far, 5 of them were copy - paste and marked as resolved. Last ticket I made five days ago. They replied after two days and got an answer not related to my problem. I got freezes in Legion Dalaran on one of my characters. GM decided to give me hints about connection problems.
I wish like everyone else to see old GM’s like in the past, but I doubt something is going to change.

Just bc they mark your ticket as closed you don’t have to do the same
(it won’t make things faster or anything, but you can re-open it)
I said those tickets were marked as resolved not closed. When ticket is marked as resolved you can’t re-open it.
