Why would it kill off alliance as a faction?
But how does it do that exactly? If we say theres like tops~5% of allies that ever attempts to engage in any form of pvp activity; if we sowsh a magic wand and make every single one of these quit, wont you have 95% left?
I just fail to see how it affects you as alliance, unless theres like some pvp item bis for pve (that you obviously absolutly must have, in order to parse well on dead content).
Because there is only downsides to rolling alliance now. Why would anyone want to roll on the side with all the disadvantages in the game?
How do you get new ppl to roll on a factionm with population disadvantage and every disadvantage that follows with it when you can just roll the more populated one and not have a single one? For every alliance that quits there wont be a new to replace it. PvE will die out. I would be surprised if there was any alliance left at all around christmas on PvP servers (expt meaybe 2)
Name the one downside but a lower faction representation? I would love to know what all the downsides are.
Less dungeon groups, less raiders, less farming, less stuff on AH, more ganking.
Now, tell me some advantages a low population has compared to a large one.
So you are unable to find a dungeon group, raid group, buy anything from the AH?
If this is the case then its a server problem, because most servers still have alliance doing dungeons and raid and have a healthy AH.
That has nothing to do with enabling this same faction BGs or not.
Also you say: more ganking…
If you make horde have 1m queue times there will be so much less ganking so you wanna be ganked or not?
1: Keep Xfaction BGs
2: Disable the creation of new horde characters until faction numbers or BG participation balances out (as I’m pretty sure there are enough alliance playing, the issue is they are PvErs for the most part, not PVPers)
3: Add an artificial Q time for horde (10-15minutes) which would simulate horde’s actual Qtimes during TBC. This would allow the alliance to keep the incentive of having faster queue times.
4: Disable premading BGs with groups larger than 5 people.
5: Add free faction transfers until the BG q times equalize
This might be the worlds worst suggestion
It gets harder and harder the lower the population gets and there is no incentive to roll alliance.
I dont think your logical thinking is developed enough to understand what this will do to the game.
Aaah yes time to pull out the undeveloped thinking card!
I have another solution for you then instead of whining you can always reroll alliance on a server where it dominates horde? There are several out there.
Considering you think I am unable to have decent discussion on this topic we will end it here go reroll somewhere else instead of being a baby on the forum
awesome change! Thank you
Exactely what I thought
If the tables were turned and the alliance had a literally unplayable part of the game they would have “whined” just as much.
Stop acting like a bunch of babies
yes its a good pvp changes, but now do something for alliance, so people still plays the game as alliance with horde taking all farming spots and everything.
50/50 layer alliance and horde and a only horde layer,
Make server AH so alliance players can buy horde stuff as they got the spots.
I’m flabbergasted by the fact that people can’t see the problem that is the faction imbalance. Alliance have parts of the game that is downright unplayable due to the overwhealming favor for the horde in terms of numbers. Fixing the faction imbalance would solve all issues. But now it will probably only get even worse if ur alliance. I’m saying this playing horde. Fixing the 2h queus was something that needed to get fixed. However now Blizzard has to try to do something so Alliance can play the game in the open world just as they fixed the hordes issue.
Or, they can you know, just not give horde the ability to go horde vs horde. And take all the honor they farmed during this “test” back and if you spent it you get a negative value.
You are unable to have a decent discussiona s you dont even know what the problem is even though many many people have explained it over the weeks.
Ever heard of world pve?
No you are making 2 different problems in to one…
Alliance faction imbalance is 1 problem
Queue times for horde are a seperate problem.
You think that giving horde shorter queue times will hurt you as a faction which it wont.
Horde wont suddenly reroll alliance.
You are just to childish and stubborn to get one of the 2 problems solved because it doesn’t benefit you directly. So I will say it again
Stop whining like a little baby and go play on another server where there isn’t faction imbalance
Or if you wanna have a decent discussion about this I am still up for it, but you are not because I am chatting with a 12 year old.
Ever heard of PvE servers? Go there it might suite you better
Queue time for horde is because of the imbalance. But as i said, your brain is unable to understand the problem so i am not gona waste time on you, it is like trying to teach advanced math to some special kid with an IQ below 70 whos expertice area of knowledge is to know where to slobber while eating dinner as not to get too wet during the experience.
