Hello everyone! Lately I’ve been struggling with some texture issues in game, such as colors, items and object not rendering properly and “flashing”. Me and a friend just figured out how to fix this problem, if you’re facing this problem, while in game, press ESC on your keyboard, then press System, from there find the effect called “Shadow Quality” and turn it all the way down to LOW, and your issue will be solved.
I have this issue too, especially in Ardenweald. The mushrooms have a disco, which at times is kind of cool but others a bit annoying.
I recently swapped GPU. Only WoW is making these weird errors. I’m considering reinstalling WoW but I’ll have to do it when it isn’t farming/dungeon time.
I’ve also been having this problem, mainly in the last week.
It’s not exclusive to a particular area; just today I’ve seen the floor textures flashing on and off in Torghast, and a lot of smaller textures around Oribos also doing the same. I’ve found that completely exiting out of the game and then logging back in can fix it easily, but it’s only a matter of time until my eyes are hurting again because the walls + structures in Maldraxxus are glitching in and out of reality.
Mmh, yes. It would seem that it’s still happening for a lot of people uncluding myself. I thought I had found the solution, but I was wrong. Perhaps it’s something on Blizzards end, since I had done literally everything I can possibly do, other then changing my GPU. Which I doubt that’s the issue, since it’s highly unlikely that thousands of people’s GPU stop working at the same time.
Same issues. Only started happening for me a couple of days ago. Before that it was fine. Mainly seems to happen in Shadowlands. Classic is fine as is Legion etc. I get broken textures, items multiplying, and the game freezing up. I thought at first it was my graphics card but benchmarks are fine and it only happens in WOW. Something has broken and I hope it is fixed soon!
Guys cmon, this issue already about a month on NVIDIA GPU. Can u fix it already?
Yes it is kind of a problem with Nvidia GPUs, which I suspect will do more good to ask Nvidia to fix their drivers. For now running on DirectX 11 mode works for me.
Yes, switch back to DX11 solved the problem. Seems like their new graphic features broke something again on DX12 as usual.
Can confirm switching back to DX11 for now
