Before the storm takes place AFTER 7.3.5. In the 7.3.5 Cinematic Gallywix says he has his men on the Azerite, which means the Goblins were there BEFORE the explorers league. In Before the storm the Explorers league did not go to Silithus before halfway into the book, along with sending an armade of night elves south.
What happens? My brothers and sisters were massacred by the SI:7 and their Azerite taken. What else? Genn Greymane and Rogers attempted to assassinate the Warchief during peace time in legion.
These are the very catalyst for the entire war, a war that the alliance started. But what happens instead? The ENTIRE horde leadership is filled with nothing but damn traitors that has betrayed their warchief multiple times. Saurfang whines about honor but hired assassins to poison the sentinels before the war of thorns then steamroll the civilians and murder them.
Lor’themar switches sides as soon as his side begins to lose, we saw this with garrosh we saw this now. He has betrayed his warchief twice. Instead of getting revenge for Taurajo, Baine exiles the avengers, he suggests that Talanji surrenders to the alliance after they murder her father and sack her city, and he mails anduin a piece of his horn. When Magatha captured Thunderbluff, he went to the ALLIANCE AND NOT THE HORDE!
And thrall… He is the very reason for this entire mess in the first place. How does he even get to say anything at all
Afterwards, I am forgiven for my “crimes” if I swear to lay off Sylvanas and swear a new oath to the horde. WHAT THE ACTUAL **** IS GOING ON?! THE VERY SAME PEOPLE THAT DEMAND ME TO DO THIS ARE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT BETRAYED THEIR OWN WARCHIEF NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE! YOU WANT ME TO SWEAR A NEW OATH BUT YOU BROKE YOUR OWN OATH MULTIPLE TIMES
So what have I learned from this? Christie Golden and the writing team absolutely hate the horde. They make the alliance attack first, have all of our leaders defect and have the true sons and daughters of the horde butchered. The funny this is is that the only patriot we even have left is Gallywix. GALLYWIX!!!
If this is the conclusion of the entire faction war, I am going to lose it, at this point in time the horde is germany after world war 1, beaten and unfarily treated for a war they didn’t even start. WE DID NOT BURN ENOUGH TREES! If we’re lucky, Tyrande will keep the war going.

Where did the alliance ask for repair ? Where is there any punishment for the horde ?
Also while Germany didn’t start the war they enabled it.

The weird rage threads from Horde fanatics who act like their favorite football team just git dropped before even qualifying for the championship is always the best part of these otherwise incredibly lame faction war stories.
Look, the Horde isn’t real. Neither is the Alliance. They’re just boxes we tick on character creation. You’re just being a weirdo when you throw a fit over the fictional Horde losing a fictional war.

The horde were gathering azerite for nefarious purposes, of course they had to be stopped! 
Furthermore, the real turn of the horde started when Sylv abandoned the alliance king and “retreated”. And even if you want to close your eyes to all this, slv slaughtered an entire city of people and then turned on her own people too

You seem to forget that the first bloodshed at Silithus, which also occurred in BtS, started when the goblins killed the members of the explorer’s league expedition while trying to capture Saphronetta. It was only after this that SI:7 started getting involved (albeit, that is unrelated to the explorer’s league getting murdered)
I would also like to mention that Genn’s assault on Sylvanas and her ships is completely tangential to the events of BfA. Sylvanas would have started this war regardless of whether that had happened, and she certainty wasn’t justified by burning teldrassil down because of it.

If the warchief chooses a different path you don’t follow their lead. Your loyalty lies with the Horde, not its warchief.
Horde actually won. They regained their honor and banished warchief that made them the evil guys of this expansion.

That’s the thing though, the horde as a concept did, the players did not really.
If we look at the three sides:
1 Alliance, helped sorta but not really, it is nice they got take part in it but aside from Anduin himself and maybe Jaina this entire story would have played out the same with or without them.
2 Sylvanas Loyalists: To be fair they got exactly what was written on the tin the moment they bought it and they got a small payoff with the quest afterwards but it was not much.
3 Horde rebels: Got confirmation but we still are at a point of “what now” Zappiboi even asked “what do we do now?” and there just is no answer.
None of the sides got any closure or solution, the cinematic itself was gorgeous, and the story itself would kinda work in a book or movie, but as the ending of something that was drip fed in tiny episodes over a year it felt flat because there simply was no satisfying ending to anything.
Granted it is wow, so a true ending can’t happen but this did not really feel like the ending of a chapter as it is supposed to be, at least not to me and I doubt I am the only one.

The thing is, that the story now is at the same point as it was year before, when we attacked undercity. Sylvanas fled and we got no ending, nor the solution of the conflict. The war was always between her and the Aliance. Only Greymane and Tyrande wanted to defeat horde as whole. But Anduin always wished to defeat Sylvanas. Which never happend.
So the war campaign maybe ends, but not the war. There is still Banshee Queen to be dealt with and we still know little about reasoning of her actions. Why she burned Teldrassil? Why she wanted the war? Why she lured us to Azshara? Why she and Azshara want Nzoth to be free?

I also Vaguely remember you attempting to assassinate our warchief in the greatest legion invasion ever and killing our miners, WHICH IS THE REASON WE ATTACKED IN THE FIRST PLACE! Had saurfang actually bothered to kill Malfurion, your tree would still be standing

Yup thats what i meant mostly, there is no real closure, both the early alliance and horde story did have that, ragerdless if you liked them or not both the Kul Tiras and Zandalar stories had a “satisfying” end for what they were, the war campaign just didn’t that is why it felt hollow to me.
The writing is so terrible in BFA, even I can come up with something better

Mannaroth didn’t die before Grom killed him in the third war, WHICH MEANS that the orcs that made the road of glory from Draenei bones are the same orcs that went to Kalimdor with thrall. Mannoroth was still alive

The horde is an alliance of convenience for mutual survival, nothing more, nothing less.
